The reception staff and vets at Burton-on-Trent Medivet are absolutely brilliant! My 10 year old cat Lucky became very unwell, not eating, drinking, lethargic and a high temperature and had me very worried, I called the practice explained mine and Lucky's situation and the reception staff were so helpful, understanding and caring, got an appointment and I took Lucky to the practice. The vet was amazing, so knowledgeable, caring and gentle with a genuine love of animals that couldn't be hidden, she put me at ease in seconds, thoroughly examined Lucky, diagnosed the probable cause, a couple of injections, asked me to call the practice the next day to give an update on his condition. Within hours of getting home he started moving around, a little later eating and drinking and his high temperature reduced, tail up, purring and soon back to his old self. I cannot thank Burton-on-Trent Medivet enough for the exemplary care, understanding and support provided to myself and Lucky, not all vets are equal and the staff and vets at Burton-on-Trent Medivet are top of the veterinary premier league. Thank you! Update: Sadly Lucky passed away in his sleep this afternoon 29/03/2025 leaving a huge gap in my life. He had been back to his old self so this has come as a complete shock.

I cannot thank Medivet Burton-on-Trent enough for their outstanding care, professionalism, and genuine love for animals. As a rescue, we often deal with urgent and complex cases, and the team at Medivet has been nothing short of incredible. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear that every member of staff is deeply dedicated to animal welfare. They treat each patient with kindness and compassion, going above and beyond to ensure their comfort and well-being. Their support for rescues like ours has been invaluable, offering expert advice, high-quality treatment, and always making space for emergencies when we need them most. The vets and nurses here are not only highly skilled but also take the time to explain everything with patience and care. Whether it's routine check-ups, critical surgeries, or simply reassuring a nervous rescue dog, they handle every situation with the utmost professionalism and heart. We are beyond grateful to have such an exceptional veterinary team by our side. Thank you, Medivet Burton-on-Trent, for your dedication, kindness, and unwavering support. The world needs more vets like you! 🐾💙 Would highly recommend to anyone looking for compassionate, top-quality veterinary care. With many thanks, Elina Oliferuk (Paw Help)

I would highly recommend Medivet in Burton-upon-Trent. Advice is professional, questions answered with clarity and I really like the fact that the animal is spoken 'to' and not just 'about' which I believe is so important. Not only does it show a caring attitude towards the owner, but I believe it reassures the animal, who, after all, are the actual clients! Thanks Emma and team! 😺

Although the surgery we take our pets to isn’t on the door step to us we like the practice they are always welcoming and we have never had any problems, we have run with the health plan for both dogs as we think this is an advantage to have. The price of things with vets is always an issue as I think everyone who has pets is aware so by them trying to reduce certain charges if ever we need out of hours is a good thing. All in all a very nice practice to visit.
