I've been veterinary nursing for over 20 years and never tire of the role as something new and exciting happens every day. I have a keen interest in surgical nursing, emergency and critical care, and teaching. In my veterinary career I've enjoyed everything from seeing my veterinary nursing students qualify, to monitoring an anaesthetic for a gorilla. Every experience has helped to arm me for whatever may come through the door next at our busy hospital.

Once I have adjusted myself back to daylight hours (with the help of my friend, mr redbull) I spend most of my time outside gardening and in the greenhouse. At home I have 4 animals-3 cats who I have acquired through work over the years, and one rescue German Shepherd.
