The plan covers routine preventive care only. It doesn't cover treatment for unexpected illness, injury, accidents, surgery, or emergencies - that's where pet insurance comes in. Yes - the plan runs on a 12-month term. If you need to cancel early, a fee may apply. Your practice team will go through the full terms with you before you sign up, so there are no surprises.

You sign up through a registered practice and typically use your included care there. If you move or want to change practice, have a chat with your local Medivet team and they'll talk you through what applies to your plan.

Your vet carries out a full clinical examination - weight, body condition, eyes, ears, teeth, skin, coat, joints, and heart and lung sounds. It's a proper look from nose to tail, not just a quick once-over. Done twice a year, it gives your vet a real chance to spot anything that needs attention between annual vaccination appointments.

The plan's included preventive care - vaccinations, parasite treatments, health checks - is routine and isn't affected by whether your pet has a pre-existing condition.
