The Italian vet who treated Bailey was extremely thorough which was a first. He asked all the right questions and did not rush us through

know you were short staffed but usually vets are super friendly and reassuring. didn't have that experience. was also waiting nearly an hour - that's fine and I understand it but would have been nice for desk staff to acknowledge this and let me know rather than me ask 'how much longer'.

Why should it take more than 2 weeks to issue a refund of an over charge?
But other than that, the service was great.

Everything was good but at the phone I asked if they have a x-ray and they told me that they have but didn’t let us know that if we come is not available . Unfortunately the x-ray is not available for evening emergencies and we know that the leg of the dog was not broken but something else is going on because he was pain in the leg . We were sent back to wait over the weekend until the doctor that knows more about bones and ligaments to be available that it will be Monday but not after 5 pm that we can come . Now I need to wait Saturday and Sunday without knowing what my dog was and if is ok for him to stay on the leg or if I can touch his leg without making it worse. I think emergency vet that are open 24 h to be able to do all the treatments at anytime of day

I find Medivet Hendon a great practice, and the service has, in my experience, been consistently good over the years we’ve had our dog.
Two points for development I can raise are:
— It is very common for appointments to start late.
— Last time I visited, my dog was seen by Stephan. Stephan seems like a very dedicated and capable vet. However, each time I’ve seen him, I felt that I have not been listened to. Especially when I ask for clarification about the treatment plans he suggested. His medical skills seem great — his communication skills need improvement.
I hope this is useful feedback.
