I handed over a seagull that had been hit by a car and was alive at the time, the vet was very friendly and compassionate and appeared to have tried their best to help the seagull, unfortunately despite their best efforts, the seagull passed away. Thank you for your help.

I am sorry but your services are below what I was expecting i contracted you with questions through an online form.. Tried to call you multiple times because nobody replied to me then noone picks up the phone.. When someone did pick up the phone after days of attempting they promised me that they will contact me but still after a week or so no luck at all!! I will only come to your office if all the rest of the vets are unavailable and I have lost all hope in the rest of the world.

Our British Shorthair Fatoush recently needed surgery, and we’re so grateful to have had it done here! From start to finish, the team were incredibly kind, compassionate, and clearly had our cat’s best interests at heart. It never felt transactional or rushed — their advice was thoughtful, honest, and focused entirely on what was best for Fatoush. What really stood out was how human the whole experience felt. The staff are not only highly knowledgeable, but genuinely caring — the opposite of the cold, corporate feel you sometimes get elsewhere. They treated our cat (and us) with warmth, patience, and professionalism! We couldn’t have asked for better care, and we wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinary team they can trust. A special thank you to Dr. Dmitri, who kindly and patiently walked us through every option, making a very difficult decision feel clear and manageable. His empathy and flexibility made it possible for us to move forward with the treatment with confidence and peace of mind.

They did a great job removing glass from our dog's stomach. Because of the circumstances it was a complicated process, requiring multiple surgeries. The team was very professional, the Dr was very communicative and explanatory, as we had 3 pivotal discussions in which we feel we made the right decision together each time. Our dog is now 4 days after surgery and healing very well, acting like himself. We couldn't have asked for anything else. Thank you to the Medivet team.

I really don't like to leave bad reviews, I'm usually one to either give a great review or forget it. But this was so disappointing I had to do it. Took my poor little dog into the clinic after hour as she was clearly in pain and very sick. It was clearly something to do with her stomach or guts (didn't wanna eat, belly as hard as a rock, little vomit during the day - all info given to the doc), however the vet didn't take any of what we said into consideration and insisted it had to be her back and pushing us to leave our dog overnight and get xrays. Total estimate: £1500. I am so glad my husband and I went with our guts, and took her back home after a quick visit and some painkiller that didn't help at all (nearly £300!!!). I watched her overnight to make sure she was comfy, rather than leaving her with strangers and took her to our regular vet the next morning, who immediately diagnosed her correctly and gave her the right cure. In less than 24 hours she was practically perfect. So the bottom line is, Medivet Richmond didn't listen to a word we said about what she might have, scared us about the dog possibily having spinal disease and insisted to spend an enormous amount (beside causing our dog a huge stress) for an exam she didn't need. And, cherry on the cake, we kind of felt judged for not listening to them, like our decision could damage our dog. Really a super negative experience, never again.
