Meet our Partner, Simon Cook
I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2013 and have been practising at Medivet 24 Hour Shrewsbury ever since, initially working for independent owners before it became part of Medivet. I became a Partner in 2017 and have since completed the CertAVP as well as the BSAVA Certificate in Small Animal Surgery, achieving a distinction in the latter. I am experienced in both orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery and continually strive to develop and refine my skills. I have a particular interest in surgery for canine cruciate disease, Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome, and fracture repairs, although I enjoy all aspects of general practice. Outside of work, I most enjoy spending time with my wife and young son, as well as keeping busy with our many pets. I still find time to unwind at the gym — although I’m much less of a regular than I was during my university days!
