I qualified in 1999 from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and completed an internship in small animal surgery and anaesthesia in 2002. I moved to the UK in 2003 to work as a small animal vet for two other practices in Sussex and Surrey, and joined Sutton in August 2008. I became a partner here in August 2017. Over the years I’ve gained knowledge and expertise in all aspects of surgery; soft tissue and orthopaedics, radiography, analgesia and rehabilitation following musculoskeletal disorders. I also recently completed a Certificate in Small Animal Surgery.

I understand my visit was on a Bank Holiday and I thought the Consulting fee was expensive but fair as a BH. What I was very surprised with was the extortionate cost of clipping a small area of fur around my dogs testicles..which we had already trimmed the day before. He was out the back for 5 to 7 mins so didn't take long at all at a cost of £141.59. I could get both of my dogs bathed, groomed, hygiene trim and a nail trim for that price. I won't even mention the price of the meds! The staff all looked very glum. I felt the vet that checked my dog over was afraid of him. She was not friendly towards him at all. We also did not like her attitude when speaking to us in the waiting room whilst another patient/dog was there too. She was not very professional. We will not be returning.

We had to say goodbye to our beloved family dog today, and it was an incredibly emotional experience. My mum was understandably heartbroken and sought some reassurance from the vet by asking, “Have I done the right thing?” Instead of offering comfort, the vet responded coldly, saying, “I can’t say — but it was treatable and we could have given him pain relief ,” after our dog had already been put to sleep. At no point were we informed of any alternative options or treatments that weren’t of an extortionate price of £5000 beforehand. Now my mum is left feeling guilty, thinking she made the wrong decision. The vet’s response was deeply insensitive and has made an already painful situation even harder to bear.

All staff was friendly and easy to deal with. The vet took time to examine our dog and gave her time to warm to him and even though she's frightened of coming to the vet, in the end she made friends with him. Thank you
