I qualified in 1999 from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and completed an internship in small animal surgery and anaesthesia in 2002. I moved to the UK in 2003 to work as a small animal vet for two other practices in Sussex and Surrey, and joined Sutton in August 2008. I became a partner here in August 2017. Over the years I’ve gained knowledge and expertise in all aspects of surgery; soft tissue and orthopaedics, radiography, analgesia and rehabilitation following musculoskeletal disorders. I also recently completed a Certificate in Small Animal Surgery.

Incredibly poor. I've requested prescriptions multiple times that when I call back to check if they are done I'm told there is no record of it being requested. This has happened multiple times. And means my dog then has to have long periods of not being on the daily medication they need. I understand prescriptions can take 3-5 days but when they get missed it often ends up being 2-3 weeks before you can get the medication. I also understand sometimes mistakes are made but this has happened multiple times now. The surgery is massively over priced. Written Prescriptions are £25 which is at the higher end of the UK average. Some vets insist on only giving you a written prescription for 1 month at a time when the animal is on long term medication. Meaning you have to pay £25 a month on top of the medication price. Again I understand this is a requirement for some medications particularly controlled drugs, but some vets do this with all medications. You cannot buy medication from the vet itself (unless you want to throw money away) as it's often 4 x or more the price of buying it online. I was being charged £170 a month for something I could buy online for less than £10. The cost for procedures is atrocious. I went to a specialist who suggested it would be cheaper to have the procedure done at my local vet. When I let the specialist know what I had been quoted they couldn't believe it as it was double the price of what the specialist was quoting. In addition the specialist was doing three procedures whereas the local vet was quoting double for one procedure. Essentially this vets is over priced, poorly managed with poor communication. There are a couple of vets who are good & take time to explain things & are knowledgeable. So this review is not a comment on these vets but more to do with the cost and poor management of the practice. If we had a car we would not attend this vets however we don't so we are stuck being ripped off by this place.

I was kept waiting 45 mins. I was then told that they didn’t know what was wrong with my dog and wanted to do numerous blood tests. Urine tests. Ultrasounds, scans and prescribe drugs all for the cost of £2538.00 which they expected me to pay in full there and then. The whole time I was there I was being ‘SOLD’ treatments that turned out not to even be necessary. I took my dog to my own vet the next day who scanned him, medicated him and concluded in a couple of hours of treatments and observations that he had a UTI. This cost £325.00 !! Medívet are high pressure sales people and didn’t stop talking so I couldn’t ask questions. I gave them £650 for some meds and an overnight stay but they couldn’t conclude his problem. Would not recommend BUYER BEWARE. Don’t agree to the fee.

I don't like doing reviews. But the accounts department is a shambles. We have been overcharged (not for the first time) and we have to prove it by sending the transactions from our bank account. Despite phoning up and asking them to track with their own accounts, the onus is on us to prove it and send sensitive information.

Behind the scenes are disorganised. They can take your money for their monthly plan but never have the flea and worming treatments available. They never ring back when they say they will and we are constantly given wrong information Medivet send out wrong text messages and seem surprised when you question it My kitten is completely miserable with fleas and worms and so far the urgent request has taken 12 days and its still not ready. My older cat now has them because the treatment is out of sync and I have bites despite grooming and sprays. We have brought this up many times and nothing is done. Hopeless
