The Branch Partnership model is an equity partnership based on the traditional partnership model. The model offers true co-ownership where each month clinic profits and costs are split between the Branch Partner and Medivet based on the percentage of equity owned. An advantage of this model is that the success of both the Branch Partner and Medivet is based on the same goals meaning that we as Medivet are committed to ensuring that our Branch Partners succeed.
Utilising the clinical expertise and leadership skills of the Branch Partner and the commercial and operational expertise of Medivet, we will grow and develop the clinic creating value. As the clinic grows so will the profits and therefore earnings of Branch Partner.
The Medivet model is truly unique offering a flexible exit option. When a Branch Partner wishes to leave the partnership, not only can they sell their shares to a new Branch Partner but they also now have the option to sell there equity back to Medivet at regular intervals on a pre-defined multiple. This allows Branch Partners to plan their partnership journey whilst giving partners a safety net to leave should their circumstances change.
This transparent model gives Branch Partners the ability to build wealth through the concept of value creation allowing them to plan financially for their future whilst pursuing a rewarding clinical career.
Medivet are committed to supporting our Branch Partners to deliver the very best client and patient care. Our Branch Partners retain full clinical autonomy of their clinics however support will always be available. Through our extensive clinical community of practicing vets and nurses and our dedicated clinical team our Branch Partners are never on their own, removing the loneliness of becoming a Branch Partner.
Each clinic is supported by an extensive field support team operating as satellites of our centralised specialist teams covering all functions such as HR, finance, facilities, procurement, and marketing. The Regional Operations Directors are the link between all the support functions and are the main support to clinics on a day to day basis. The Regional Operations Directors not only provide operational support to clinics but through integrated systems, work with clinics to provide insight into how to develop the clinic further. Additional support is available when needed by from functional experts across our Support Centre to creating and delivering plans with real impact.
We know how important it is for all our Branch Partners to get a solid start and so each branch Partner will receive a full initial onboarding tailored to them covering all aspects of their clinic. Following this, our Branch Partners will be enrolled on to a six month external coaching programme to support their leadership journey as well internally taught modules covering the essential skills and knowledge needed to become a successful Branch Partner.
Miha became Branch Partner of Medivet Battersea in 2012 and is now one of Medivet’s most successful Branch Partners. Miha brought with him a vision, and with the support of Medivet, has grown his clinic from a 1 vet, 1 consult room clinic into a thriving 3 vet clinic in new premises.

Charlotte originally joined Medivet on the Graduate Programme in our Orrell Park clinic in 2020. After the programme ended she stayed with the clinic and has now gone on to become a Branch Partner.
After Nina graduated in Slovenia in 1998, she went to work as an Army vet for 8 years but had always dreamt of owning my own clinic. The opportunity arose to own a clinic in Slovenia for 8 years, but she struggled with the financials.
Glad moved to the UK in 2016 and became Branch Partner of Medivet Speke in 2021. Just recently, Glad had the opportunity to take on a new challenge and has moved clinics to become Branch Partner of Medivet Alder, a busy 24-hour hospital in Liverpool.

The amount that a Branch partner would need to invest will depend on the value of the clinic. Our team will discuss what type of clinic you would be most suited to based on your experience and aspirations. Once a clinic has been decided upon, our team will create a valuation and investment pack for that clinic.
This would depend upon the clinic. Our team will create a transparent valuation that they will go through with you alongside a five year forecast illustrating what your individual investment could look like.
This will depend on the size and profitability of the clinic. If the clinic has sufficient equity to support two Branch Partners, then yes. We would be happy to explore this with you.
Yes, as a Branch partner you will retain clinical autonomy to run your clinic.
Our Branch Partners typically work a four day week with a share of weekend shifts. Branch partners will also be entitled to 6 weeks holiday plus bank holidays.
You will receive training to be equipped with the basic skills and knowledge regarding the financial aspects of running a clinic. However, as a Branch Partner with Medivet you will be fully supported in all commercial aspects of running a business leaving you to focus on the clinical and leadership elements of running your clinic. Previous experience is therefore not necessary.
