Medivet Laindon Baking Cakes to Raise Money for Australian Wildlife
Staff at Medivet Laindon will be donning their baking overalls for a cake sale to raise funds for Australian wildlife affected by the bush fires.
The all-day Cake Sale by nursing and client care staff takes place at the High Road practice in Essex on Wednesday 22nd January from 9am to 6pm.
The staff at Medivet Laindon Wellcare Vets want to do their bit to support the affected animals on the other side of the world after being moved by the plight of the wildlife. They will bake cakes to sell on the day – with all proceeds going to the World Wildlife Fund.
Branch partner and Veterinary Surgeon Antonis Dimitriou said: “Working in the animal welfare business, we all feel particularly distressed seeing all the terrible scenes coming out of Australia at the moment. We would encourage Essex animal lovers and clients to donate as much as they feel they can.”
