The vet was able to cut my extremely nervous dog's nails, I have taken him to multiple places over the years and had to give up due to how distressed he was, the vet and her assistant put my dog at ease and I was given lots of advice re food, dental health etc

This vet misdiagnosed my kittens mouth said she had cut her tounge and wanted to put her down! I recorded the whole consultation! MEDIVETS KILLS YOUR PETS FOR NO REASON! Trixy had ulcers on her tongue, very painful and you refused her painmeds and WANTED TO PUT HER DOWN!!! I have reported this to CPL, PDSA AND GOV. Com! I left your practice in a mess took Trixy straight to TINY PAWS IN ABERDARE! Who didnt just look at her! They offered her food which she refused and then fed her at the side of her mouth which she accepted! He then gave her pain meds straight away and said YOU DONT PUT A CAT DOWN FOR A CUT MOUTH OR A ULCERATED TOUNGE !!! Shame on you! And as I told your receptionist I recorded the whole thing. And she was happy for me to leave with the recording and photos . SO NO DONT USE THESE THERES AN AWESOME VETS NOT FAR, 50p more for a consultation! Save your pets and dump this vets!!!

This vet tried forcing me to put my pet down for a wrongly diagnosed cut tongue! I don’t think having a cat who has a cut tongue warrants being put down anyway! But she didn’t even look properly just looked me up and down told me she doubted that I had KLARNA! She was wrong there too! I had just made the last payment for my husband’s cremation and thought I was registered with PDSA, none of that warranted the treatment that I was given or the negligence and cruelty that was given to my kitten!
I recorded the whole conversation and they were happy for me to do that, probably assuming I hadn’t done that either. THANKFULLY TINY PAWS IN ABERDARE SAW HER IMMEDIATELY, gave her pain relief STRAIGHT AWAY WHICH BY THE WAY IS THE LAW! Found out that she had burned her tongue on either a plant or spice and just couldn’t use her tongue because it was so painful! Thankfully she was much better in the morning! Still needed feeding by hand but thats not a problem atleast she’s alive! You cant take that mistake away!

I don't know who i spoke to over the phone on Wednesday to make our very first appointment, but she was absolutely amazing, helpful and knowledgeable. The vet Chris was brilliant and was also very helpful with our sold puppies. The practice was so good were changing from our current vets to Medivet Aberdare 😃

I made an emergency appointment on the same day i was seen with my cat whod been shot in the face and the staff where able to get him seen and treated immediately i cant thank them enough for helping my boy and at such short notice .

I made an appointment quite late in the day for the same day as my cat was very poorly and although the clinic was fully booked they made space to see my boy.the vet that i saw was brilliant and honest and im grateful they were able to help my boy .im thankful to say little frankie is on the mend and getting back to his usual self.
