After graduating in Madrid in 2000, I arrived to the UK in 2001 and worked in several locations for a while . I started working in small animal practice in Oxford in 2004 and since then I have developed several interests including orthopaedic surgery and imaging . I joined Medivet Abingdon as Lead Vet in 2019 with the intention of proving the best possible care to all animals and their owners . I have a lovely family with my wife , 2 kids and our super-dog Felipe . In my spare time I enjoy practising sports and travelling with my family

I am very pleased to be starting at Medivet Abingdon. Previous to qualifying as veterinary surgeon, I was a biomedical scientist at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. I later obtained my Masters in Research at Imperial College before going to the University of Nairobi. Whilst preparing for the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons statutory exam, I was enrolled to study a PhD in precision livestock technologies at the University of Nottingham. I registered this year as a MRCVS & worked for 3 months in the North East in a mixed practice. My interests are varied and include classical history hence my GSD is Juno Hera Mut. I am from an animist background culturally and look forward to joining Luis and the team in caring for your pets.

We can offer nurse clinics covering: weight control, dental checks, puppy & kitten care, 6 month MHP checks, blood pressure checks and support and advise on diabetes, arthritis and nutrition.

  • Diagnostic Imaging

    We have a range of different Diagnostic Imaging equipment in our practice. We can offer digital x-rays, this can take a picture of your pets bones and can show us some internal organs. We have ultrasonography, which is a real time image of your pets internal organs.
