Veterinary Surgeon

I have worked at Withy Grove/Medivet Bamber Bridge since 1999. I am the proud holder of three surgery certificates. I love all aspects of surgery but especially laparoscopic surgery and orthopaedics. I am also a vet GDP advisor and new Graduate mentor. When I'm not working, I enjoy going to the gym, spending time with my kids and walking my dogs.

Tahsin Alay

Veterinary Surgeon

I am one of Veterinary Surgeons at Medivet Bamber Bridge and spend my time in practice meeting clients and animals for consultations, as well as operating on patients. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors and watching a live football match in a stadium. My personal and professional life is centered around the belief that every animal deserves a happy and healthy life.

Charlotte Allen

Veterinary Nurse

Charlotte is one of our Registered Veterinary Nurses. She loves caring for your pets and assisting our vets, particularly during surgery. Charlotte enjoys monitoring anaesthetics, caring for a variety of different inpatients and she has a keen interest in neonatal care, surgical nursing and animal welfare. Outside of work, Charlotte has a dog called Lola, that she hand reared from 2 days old. She loves travelling, walking and camping as well as going to music concerts and festivals.

Samantha Tyrrell

Veterinary Nurse

Samantha is one of our registered veterinary nurses. Samantha loves caring for patients during procedures and assisting them during recovery the most. She gets great satisfaction from helping patients feel better and seeing them when they are content and happy. Caring for a variety of different inpatients is also enjoyable especially when they enjoy cuddles (in particularly dachshunds). Outside of work she enjoys reading, drawing, and looking after her own pets Cooper (Labrador), Ash (Dachshund) and George (Cat)'

Nicolle Kelly

Veterinary Nurse

As one of our Veterinary Nurses, Nicole spends her time helping the vets and clients, caring for our patients including monitoring anaesthetics, as well as lots of cleaning! She loves to make a positive difference for each patient, helping them feel better and advocating animal welfare. The variety always keeps her on her toes as she never knows what is coming through the door! Outside of work, Nicole plays netball, enjoys walking with her dog Mac, going out with friends and relaxing with her two cats, Milo and Penny.

Leanne Lowe

Patient Care Assistant

I'm Leanne one of the patient care assistants here at Bamber Bridge. I like spending time with my husband, 2 beautiful children, our 3-year-old labrador named Roxy and a 11-year-old cat named Olaf. In my spare time (if any!) I do like to read, go swimming and my favourite is hiking around the lake district with Roxy who loves adventures. We take plenty of weekend camping trips and love to be outdoors, as well as our love for sun holidays in Turkey.

Sophie Bond

Client Care Assistant

Sophie is one of our receptionists and spends her time in practice taking care of you, our clients. Sophie loves meeting all your pets and seeing them coming back to the surgery after treatment, their normal, happy selves, and gives owners great advice. When she’s not taking care of our patients and their owners, Sophie likes to keep fit, learning new recipes for healthy eating and upcycling – turning old items into new. Her mischievous puggle, Minnie age 6, keeps her busy too.

Owen Seaborne

Client Care Assistant

Receptionist Owen stays busy behind reception looking after you all and helping the practice run smoothly. He finds it very rewarding looking after people and their pets and improving the lives of both. Outside of work he has his own dog grooming business. He enjoys spending free time with the family and pooches Louis the Pug and Summer the King Charles Cavalier.

Jacqui Hoggarth

Client Care Assistant

Jacqui comes from a background as a Pharmacy Assistant and has transferred her skills to the veterinary sector. She is vital to patient and client care at Bamber Bridge and spends her time helping reception run smoothly, making sure you and your pets are well looked after. She enjoys getting to know our animal and human visitors and as an animal lover she knows how important pets are to us. In her spare time, you'll find Jacqui walking her dogs; Molly the Dachshund and Sprout the Pinscher/Yorkie cross.
