I am interested in dog and cat behaviour, but enjoy interacting with clients and meeting all their lovely animals to nurse them back to health! My hobbies include going to the gym, arts and crafts, photography, gaming, and a good cuddle with my cat, Cleo.

Student Veterinary Nurse

Hi, I’m Kim, I’m a student veterinary nurse due to qualify in 2026. I have worked at Medivet Bamber Bridge since 2020. One of the things I enjoy the most is seeing patients come back year after year. I especially have a soft spot for the older patients and enjoy giving them lots of hugs. My interests are laboratory work, radiology, and nurse consultations. I also love taking care of patients on ward, recovering them from anaesthetics, and making sure they feel loved. In my spare time I’m usually with my Beagle, Hector who is nine years old, he loves nothing more than cuddling on the sofa, eating and getting out for walks. Outside of work you will either see me watching a live rock band or watching Blackburn Hawks ice hockey. I love to collect horror memorabilia and love to game with my partner.

I’m a Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) who enjoys making pets feel safe and cared for. I love being hands-on, learning new skills, and supporting the team in providing the best care possible. At home, I’ve got two dogs — Dottie the Boston Terrier and Willow the Shih Tzu cross — plus two cats who round out my little pet family. They all make life a little livelier and keep me smiling every day.

Not impressed it's the second time I have been recently where I didn't get value for money. Charging£55 for medication that didn't work.... I'm going to find somewhere else

The vet was supposed to check my dogs skin condition. Also, she was supposed to email me a list of what the prices were for treatment and hasn't done so. The last time I came to the vet with an issue with my dogs skin condition (the same problem) I got charged £55 for treatment that didn't work. It looks like I will have to find somewhere else as now I have lost all confidence in this practice. Which means more outlay for a second opinion... Not impressed at all.

I was a bit disappointed as I specifically asked for my dog to be booked in with a female vet but it was a male vet when I got there. The last time my dog saw this vet he was really anxious, hence why I asked for a female vet I the first place.

Lovely welcoming & caring staff. Clean & tidy practise, with a separate sitting area for cats & their owners ❤️ Only reason for 4/5 was because of cost but that's probs the same for all vets!!
