We felt the vet was preoccupied or unwell and so didn’t seem to be fully focused on our dog during the checkup. She didn’t check her heart and was dependent on us pointing things out rather than doing her usual check list.

My dog recently had a six-month health check as part of the pet care plan. Compared to my previous vet surgeon, I felt that the checkup itself was very brief, the vet did not check my pet's teeth or claws really anything other than taking her heartbeat. I was also confused to find that the surgeons did not have a record of my pet's vaccination records when I had specifically provided these from the old vets when we signed up.
I would hope that's going forward the health checks will be more comprehensive.
