Please send my extreme thanks to the staff who helped our Rottweiler (Thor), in emergency over-night on the evening of 08/08/2023 and the vet who handed over to us the next day. First time we have ever used emergency service, despite a mix up between 2 sites (which was actually our registered put of hours serivice) which was initially distressing as our dog was in extreme pain and distressed himself, but once we got the help from Birstall the ladies on the night shift were fantastic. Super patient with us, extremely helpful and very sympathetic to our position. The vet was Livia Ionescu, I didnt get receptionist name but she was blonde and I remember she had 4 dachshunds at.home because our 2nd dog that was with us was a daxie. The 2nd vet was just as helpful and knowledgeable. Put us at ease and did a very thorough hand over, considering he was not present for the initial treatment. His name was Robert Servanski. We are so very grateful for everyone's help, and are just relieved that our beloved pet is home & comfortable, thanks to all the amazing people from Medivet Birstall.
