Gaia Pagnoni

Lead Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from the Università degli Studi of Milan in 2018 and moved to the UK later that year. I joined Medivet Frimley as an assistant vet surgeon in 2019. I really enjoy working in a General Practice because this gives me the chance to approach and investigate many different conditions. Also, I enjoy mentoring vet students and training new graduates as a VetGDP Adviser.

I joined the team in March 2020. I qualified as a nurse in March 2019 but have been working in different practices since January 2015. I have passion for nutrition, and support of osteoarthritis due to my own cat and rabbit suffering from this. I'm kept busy in my spare time looking after my pets.

Reception staff and veterinary nurses have always been wonderful and cannot fault them. We have never had to really had to see the actual vet for any particular reason up until now. I am not sure if they are new however we changed vet the following day.
I have never been spoke to like an uneducated child before and I would not recommend anyone see them for advice on their pet. I was told to treat my dog like 'a dog not a baby' after about a 2 second interaction where they knew absolutely nothing about me or my pet and then his condition was put down to separation anxiety!!! If she had bothered to listen to me or get to know us, she would know he is not an anxious dog or have seperation anxiety and he reacted the way he did in that split second for a reason. Luckily the new vet we found in the area, we could not fault and are extremely impressed with so you might find you loose many customers in the area due to the vet at the Bisley practice.

Far too expensive. Quote for ooeration/procedure was obscene and overcharged and listed items that were not necessary.
Had no choice but to use another vet practice and the operation was half the price.
