Since graduating from the Royal Veterinary College in 1982 I've worked in several practices in the South East, generally part-time to allow time with my family. I share my home with three much-loved cats and a geriatric tortoise.

I graduated from the Università degli Studi of Milan in 2018 and moved to the UK later that year. I joined Medivet Frimley as an assistant vet surgeon in 2019. I really enjoy working in a General Practice because this gives me the chance to approach and investigate many different conditions. Also, I enjoy mentoring vet students and training new graduates as a VetGDP Adviser.

Veterinary Nurse

I joined the team in August 2021 as the Head Veterinary Nurse. I qualified in 2013 and moved while it was Bisley Vets and then joined Medivet Team in 2021. I have a keen interest in wildlife and well-being of cats when visiting the practice. I have two children, a rescue dog, two rescue cats and tortoise who was bought in here as stray (the curse and the beauty of working in a veterinary branch is that you fall in love with every animal that needs a home!). I enjoy spending time with my family outside of work, holidaying in Wales and exploring the countryside.

I joined the team in March 2020. I qualified as a nurse in March 2019 but have been working in different practices since January 2015. I have passion for nutrition, and support of osteoarthritis due to my own cat and rabbit suffering from this. I'm kept busy in my spare time looking after my pets.

Usually brilliant. Took our Labrador there last year with a small rash and was charged about £15 for some mousse. Took the same dog with the same rash last week and was charged £197 for Apoquel and flea tablets. Wasn’t informed of the side effects so did my own research as soon as I got home. Wasn’t happy to give such a drastic course of medicine for what is a minor condition. Phoned back within half an hour of leaving the Vet to say I was unhappy. Was told by the receptionist that they couldn’t do anything but would chase it up. I called back every day for four days and went in person twice. I was finally sent an email stating that they legally couldn’t take them back or give a refund. There is 21 tablets and I was charged £100 for them. I have looked online when I was looking at the effects of them and you can get them for £2 a tablet. It wasn’t our normal Vet and I felt the locum didn’t listen when I was saying he wasn’t scratching in distress. If he had needed the tablets I would be happy to pay but I feel it was an over diagnosis.

Just had my 2 cats 6 months health check with Nurse Meghan. Check up was thorough and put my mind at rest. Couldn't be kinder and my cats love seeing Meghan. Treatment room clean, and staff always welcoming . Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this practice.

Not as impressive as when Fred was the vet, and we are obviously all paying for the building improvements as the bill took my breath away for simple ear drops.

Gaia was brilliant, and Buckets Malone enjoyed his visit. Not an easy ask for a cat it took half an hour to persuade that being decanted into his cat carrier was a good idea!
