Hayley Humphreys

Veterinary Surgeon

I’m Hayley and I’ve worked in the veterinary industry since 2012, before qualifying as a vet in 2018. My interests lie in internal medicine and I’m also a huge fan of cat friendly handling and minimising stress for our feline friends! Outside of work I enjoy taking my three and a half legged cockapoo, Dottie, to the beach and reading a good crime thriller!

I am lucky enough to have been in the animal industry since 2011, I graduated in 2016 gaining 1:1 BSc (Hons) in Zoo management. I have previously worked in: Animal Education Facilities, Farms, Pet Shops, Zoos and Aquaria. I have experience caring for with exotic mammals, reptiles, birds, fish, insects, rodents, wildlife, and small livestock animals. I am also a Qualified instructor, Raptor 1st aid provider and National Exotics & Wildlife Rescue Volunteer. My interests include animal rehabilitation, the natural world, travel, music, arts and crafts. I aspire to study exotic animal nursing in the future.

My name is Mia and I’m a student veterinary nurse, currently going into my second year of training. I have a miniature Schnauzer called Darcy. In my spare time I love to travel and spend time with family and friends. I qualified as an RVN at the end of 2024 and look forward to continuing to expand my skills to provide the best care for my patients. I have a special interest in surgical nursing and diagnostics.

I have worked for Medivet since May 2022 and was new to the industry when I started, but so far, I am loving every minute of it. I’m a mum to a two-year-old black Labrador and in my spare time I enjoy being out and about in the great outdoors.

Lou Glen

I'm Lou one of the CCA's, I've worked at the practice since September 2019. Prior to working here, I had never worked in a veterinary practice before, but I can honestly say I've never enjoyed a job more, and I'm lucky to work alongside a great team of people. As a direct result of working here I am now a cat mum to Petal and her son Charles. Outside of work you will normally find me in the gym, or spending time with my family.

Ali Merriman

I have lived in and around New Ferry for forty-four years. It is so lovely seeing familiar faces and new come into the practice. Being a CCA is the best role as I enjoy helping clients, but most of all I love the cuddles from all the gorgeous pets. I enjoy spending my free time with my husband, twin daughters and teenage daughter, and my gorgeous Cavatzu Minnie.
