I have been here for a few years now and enjoy seeing all of your lovely pets. I started here after working in human healthcare for 10 years! I particularly love exotic animals such as snakes and rodents! I have two cats and a dog and enjoy riding horses in my spare time!

Veterinary Care Assistant

I’m excited to be starting my journey as a Veterinary Care Assistant and to be part of such a supportive team. Before joining the practice, I managed a busy dog day care where I gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, personalities and energy levels. That role strengthened my understanding of canine behaviour and the importance of creating a safe, positive environment for every animal. At home, I have a very loveable Golden Retriever and four rabbits who keep me busy. I’m hoping to progress onto Student Veterinary Nursing in the future and continue developing my skills and knowledge within the practice.

I am currently doing a certificate with the Royal Veterinary College in Advanced Veterinary Nursing specialising in Emergency and Critical Care to further develop my skills and provide the highest standard of care to my patients.

Very friendly practice. My dog has not as yet had any health issues so I cannot comment . But when she goes for her annual check up I feel the service is personal and thorough

The increasing cost of these routine visits for anal gland expression is becoming unsustainable for us despite being on the healthcare plan

My last practice just used to send out flea and worm treatment when their system said it was due. This was much easier.

The practice is tired and urgently needs updating. Whilst the service is excellent the overall experience is disappointing.

The vet practice was outdated.
I was not greeted on arrival.
The vet table was filthy full of dogs hair and paw marks and could have been wiped down prior.

My surgery in Calne looks a bit worn down and the parking is v limited.
However, the staff are friendly and the new vet seems knowledgeable and caring about my pet.
