Medivet Cockfosters have always been excellent in the care of all our animals. The vets are thorough and explain everything in detail, and the nurses and reception staff are always happy to help, explain and care about the animals. They also submit the insurance claims very quickly for me.

I have been with this practice for a very long time, including before it was purchased by Medivet. I have full top cover with Pet Plan. My cat will be coming in for a second dental procedure which is covered so you’re gonna make a lot of money but this time I do strenuously object to the fact that I have to pay a £25 fee for Medivet to fill out a form to submit to Pet Plan with an estimate of the claim. To get pre-authorisation from Pet Plan it’s a win-win for medivet but not for me as the client because I’m now having to come up with more money. It is not a very kind policy when Medivet is going to make 1000 or 1 1/2 thousand pounds from the procedure Just saying it doesn’t warm my heart to know that Pet Plan are really just a business.
