We have used your practice for about 5 years and would never go anywhere else. The cats are gently handled which I appreciate as they can be a bit difficult.

The staff here always go above and beyond, on this occasion they spent extra time helping to get my Cosmo used to his paws being handled so he was better with nail clippings.

The staff at Medivet Cockfosters are outstanding. They go above and beyond for both my dogs and I don’t think I could have got through this mentally without them. They genuinely care it’s not just a job for them. I wouldn’t change them for anything. Yesterday my dog nearly died and today he’s at home with us 🙏🏼

I have had two appointments this week so had to guess which one you may be referring to. One started on time and one was late.
The staff are friendly and the vets are lovely. However, many pets find visiting the vet stressful and they prefer familiar care givers just as people prefer to see the same doctor. There is too much chopping and changing of vets and other staff which makes the visit more difficult for the pets and the owners than it should be. Also, when staff are familiar with the animals they make a fuss of them on arrival which settles them. Current support staffing arrangements do not facilitate this and there is no interaction with animals or owners other than the rudimentary until the appointment is over. I am sensing the staff themselves are quite stressed.

This was the second appointment and whilst the vets were professional, on both occasions there was little effort to welcome the dog, so that when the inspection began our dog was nippy and had to have a muzzle fitted. Just as a GP welcomes there patient, it is important to put the dog at ease before beginning inspections.
