I have been Crowthorne's Lead Veterinary Surgeon since September 2018, after spending seven years at the Wokingham branch. I qualified in Italy in 2007 and worked there as a small and exotic animal vet. I've also worked at Bristol Zoo and a number of different practices in the UK, including a rotating internship at one of the lead referral practices for small animals in 2011. I have also completed a certificate in exotic animal practice in 2013. I love spending time with my two young children and my husband.

I have been with Medivet since 2019 after graduating in Poland and I joined Crowthorne team in 2021. After graduation I spent few months in a Small Animal Hospital in Portugal as a part of Erasmus internship. I enjoy every part of work in first opinion practice, but my special interests are in Diagnostic Imaging and I am currently doing certificate in that area. Outside of work I love hiking and exploring the nature.

Veterinary nursing is my Vocation. I have been with the company since 2010 and joined the wonderful Crowthorne team as their head nurse in 2019. I love all aspects of my job however I hold a particular interest in training nurses, canine behaviour and animal nutrition. My furbaby Ernest (pictured with me) keeps me busy outside of work, you will find us either honing our skills in agility or competitive obedience and going on lovely hikes exploring the beautiful British countryside.

Client Care Assistant

I joined the company in August 2015 as a receptionist at the Wokingham practice. I especially enjoyed that in addition to the cats and dogs, we saw the exotic animals also. I find the exotic pets very interesting. When Wokingham became the Medivet hospital branch in 2018, I happily followed our exotics vet Selene, to the Crowthorne branch in 2019. I currently don't have any pets myself, but love making a fuss of, when I can, many of the different animals that come through our doors and enjoy meeting and greeting all our lovely clients.

It was Rolo's (our cat) annual check up. He's a rescue and gets very stressed of being put in the carrier. So he'd had unfortunately had an accident. The vet was super sweet, and mopped out the carrier and then took time to wipe him down. I didn't get her name, but thought she showed such care and compassion.

I took a wild sparrow that I found, they happily brought him in same day of getting in contact and looked after him. I was worried as he was wild he wouldn’t get the care and treatment he deserved but they gave him a check up and took the best course of action. Thank you Jane for all your help and updates.

I recently brought my cockatiel to Medivet Crowthorne after he suffered a broken leg, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the exceptional care we received. Dr. Selene was outstanding—extremely skilled, professional, and compassionate throughout the entire treatment process. She took the time to explain every step of the procedure and follow-up care, which helped ease my worries and ensured my little one was in the best hands. The entire team at Medivet made our visit as stress-free as possible, and their friendly, supportive approach truly made a difference. I highly recommend Medivet Crowthorne to anyone in need of top-notch veterinary care for their pets.
