Meet our Partner, Fabiana Couto
I qualified as a vet from Lisbon university in 2012 and worked in Portugal for four years before joining Medivet Croxley Green as a Lead Vet in 2016, becoming Partner more recently. I have five rescue pets - three cats, a dog, and a budgie. On my time off I enjoy travelling and nature walks with my dog Coco.

The reason I gave 5 was because I do not like making recommendations; we all react differently to situations so 5 is an average number. My only criticism was that I was cold in the waiting area.
I would rather give Merlin's view. He sent an email (from his own account to Timmy's account (at No 5), telling him all about it.
Merlin's account
When I got to the vet I saw a nice man called Alex. I had done two small bits of poo in the carrier but no-one was cross with me. Alex got me some new poo pads for the return journey. That was kind of him. We discussed his history and medications. He said I didn't look like a 12 year old (that's what the previous vet estimated) and even if I was only ten that was impresive too. My teeth were in an excellent condition and there were no cataracts. I weighed in at 5.8kg which was good; and then I had the injection to protect me from getting infections. So I was packaged up again and said goodbye to Alex. Altogether a good experience for me and Mum.
Then Mum paid for the treatment. I was silent again on the way back.
Mum gave both PJ and me treats and I had some more breakfast before going out into the garden. I've just come in and am eating again. Then it will be time for 💤💤 after cuddles.

The staff made myself and my dog very welcome and gave him a lot of attention which he loved. Everyone was polite and friendly

First time at the vets for 'Pops' and Ben made him feel totally at ease. It was a friendly space as soon as we stepped through the door.

Ben was so professional and extremely friendly.. As Pops was not keen on the table Ben sat on the floor to assess Pops which massively helped

Alex and Fabiana are great with my little boy and treat him like their own. All the staff at the practice is wonderful, professional and friendly. We always feel very safe there. My little one has loads of issues with his skin and allergies and the team are always available when we need them and can’t thank them enough.

My local practice is quite small and the rooms looked a bit cluttered and well used.
Waiting room is small and difficult separating dogs and cats.
Appointments are quite quick and it feels like a sales pitch with treatments offered.
The charges for treatments is very high and it was uncomfortable hearing another client being asked to pay a large sum of money which she didn't have. The vet spoke to her but in ear shot of myself and I felt for the lady, she assumed her insurance covered it? It was t explained properly to her by the sounds of it.
