I just want to say that all the staff at this particular vets practice were fantastic. Sadly I had a very poorly 11 year old Leonberger - "Darcy" who they diagnosed with diabetes, they were wonderful with her and she made a miraculous recovery for approx 6months then she declined rapidly and we decided it was time to say good bye. At this point the vet again was fantastic so kind with enormous empathy and compassion. They gently sedated her first so she was in a lovely relaxed sleep before her final injection which I had not experienced before ,this was so much more peaceful and gentle . As heart breaking as it was, I was deeply comforted by their approach at this awful time .So a big Thank you" to this practice I can only highly recommend ........ Recently moved my dog to blakemere and so glad I did. We’ve watched him deteriorate recently as cancer set in and spent many agonising days trying to decide what to do for the best. They provided the most sensitive and compassionate end of life experience at home and this has helped me enormously in starting to come to terms with the loss of my fantastic pal of 13 years. Thank you

Where do I begin!! After my regular vet (who will remain nameless as this review is about Blakemere) turned their back on my little dog Timmy, I turned to Blakemere. Timmy was very poorly. For one month they moved heaven and earth to try to save him. Something I had not experienced before. They did countless home visits, referrals and were always on the other end of the phone offering support and advice. Alas three weeks ago Timmy had to be put to sleep. It was so dignified. He lay in my arms and went peacefully surrounded by his family. Two vets were in attendance there was so much love and care from them. The whole team vets, nurses and receptionists are absolutely amazing. Nothing is too much trouble, and I mean nothing. They go above and beyond. They are a little gem in the middle of Ellesmere. I will be forever indebted to them. Thank you to the whole team. A special mention must go to Laura, Emma, Molly, Philapa and Sue who all had a hand in Timmys care. My only regret is I wish I'd found you sooner. But I will be staying with you so you can care for my other pets. Thank you❤️ Xxx
