I qualified back in 1989 and have been a practising vet since. I live at home with my wife and two children. We share our home with our crazy Labrador, Gifford, who loves to explore the countryside in hope of finding a river to swim in. A puppy has also recently joined us, Nell the Border Terrier. Sparkie, the cat, rules the roost. Tarquin the tortoise enjoys exploring the garden while keeping a close eye on the chickens.

I have been working in the veterinary industry since 2009, qualifying as a Registered veterinary nurse in 2013. I then completed my ISFM certificate in feline Nursing in 2016. I have worked in several clinics in Oxfordshire and joined Medivet Faringdon in 2017. I have a keen interest in all things feline, and am passionate about feline friendly practice. At home I have a cat called Oscar, who likes to bring me frogs and earthworms from the garden.

I started my career as a student with Medivet, working here at Faringdon and other local practices. I qualified as a Registered Veterinary nurse in 2020. Since qualifying I have worked in a busy referral hospital, became a proud mummy to a little boy, got married and came back to my Medivet roots in 2022. I have a keen interest in anaesthesia and hands on patient care. I absolutely love my job. In my spare time I enjoy going on long walks with my little dog, Pablo, a Pomeranian cross Spitz.

I started my career as a referral administrator in a hospital in Swindon but it was always my dream to become a nurse. I had to complete additional qualifications ahead of my diploma but I eventually qualified in November 2021. I love a variety of nursing and building relationships with clients and their pets. I have a keen interest in nutrition, anaesthesia, pharmacology and emergency care. I live in Shrivenham, together with my husband, my very independent cat Toast and my guinea pigs Sausage, Mushroom and Egg. Outside of work, I am a member of the SALOS in Swindon (performing in musical theatre) and I also love to sew and craft.

I've been working as Veterinary Receptionist since 1997. Me and my family share our home with two cats (we “share” while the cats think they “rule”). Hector is our lazy- and not so bright, ginger cat who I re-homed as an abandoned kitten. Hattie is our young cat who I re-homed.

Sienna used to be terrified of the vets after an unfortunate experience at another local vets. Since moving to Faringdon and using Medivet - Faringdon, she’s been so much more confident coming into the vets. All the staff are so wonderfully kind and patient. You can tell they only want what’s best and they were on hand to answer any questions surround Sienna’s surgery. Thank you to everyone, Sienna loves you all. ❤️❤️🐾

Just phoned to make an emergency appointment for my dog and was told - after taking my details and describing the dog’s ailment, that my dog should be seen urgently. As relitively new people to the town however and not registered with them, we were told they would need to see our dog’s medical history first - even though we explained that she is a ‘rescue’ with no medical history and we weren't aware of any, bar details of an ‘unrelated’ operation she had 14 months ago. Suffice to say, they wouldn’t allow us to make an emergency appointment (or otherwise) without registering first and providing ‘some’ medical history! We were left totally bewildered at their attitude towards what THEY considered to be an urgent matter. Very poor show and I told them so - imagine putting bureaucracy before animal welfare. An absolute disgrace!

It was very easy to book an appointment, and the vet spent time talking to me about what we can do at home to help our pet cope with moving house, as she hasn't dealt/adjusted with/to it as quickly as we had hoped/expected her to. Lots of suggestions were made and it was hugely appreciated.
