Great veterinary centre, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely vets, brilliant with pets and their wellbeing. My cat can be quite feisty but was gentle as a lamb in the vets hands.

We had a very disappointing experience with Medivet.
Before our visit, my wife and I spoke with the reception/customer service team and were clearly told that, as my wife receives Universal Credit, we would get at least a 25% discount. We were also informed that the first visit would be free.
However, when we arrived, none of this was honoured. Not only did we not receive any discount, but we were also charged £56 for the consultation.
To be fair, the vet himself was professional and helpful. But the reception/customer service was very poor – misleading, unprofessional, and not transparent. We felt pressured and misinformed.
This kind of communication is unacceptable, especially when people rely on clear information about costs before attending.
I hope Medivet improves its customer service and ensures accurate information is given to clients in the future.

My experience with Medivet Sandgate was excellent. Sally and all the reception staff are always happy and helpful. Stephen the Vet is lovely and explains procedures very well. The Vet Nurse is also really nice and helpful. Both my dogs have needed procedures recently, altogether I am very happy with the care my two dogs get when they visit the practice.

Very pleased with my visit with my cat cuddles, the vet was very good with her, she hates having her claws clipped but he was so good and it was over so quick.

As it was my puppy's first vet visit, I thought the health check would be more thorough, such as testing his joints for problems, teeth and ears, etc.
However, it was very basic - heart, weight and prescription for flea and worming treatments.
