Totally satisfied with everything connected to the care of my pet notifications for treatments due timely half yearly checks also notified staff on phone or in person helpful friendly knowledgeable and practical very happy to use medivet and to recommend.

Whilst disappointed that my appointment on Wednesday was cancelled due to lack of staff, the ease with which I was dealt later on Thursday with what had become a more urgent need of veterinary care was great.
Martin understood the situation and dropped everything to deal immediately with a procedure that required sedation of my cat. He was a star and did all he could to keep costs to a minimum.

Sadly service has dropped significantly in the past year. My family have been using Kynock, now medivet, for well over 20 years but recent experience has been terrible. Unless you are lucky enough to get Mary on reception or vet Arabella, you may as well not bother. Unfortunately I am tied into a contract (unknowingly) so have not been been able to transfer my pets care. But I have been forced to take my dog to an alternative vet to get answers for what turned out to be a common but significant injury.

Be clear at time of booking it its annual check with vaccination that the default setting is with a vet. I had booked on line, and I didn't know, so at a later date I was contacted to arrange another appointment. It's not self service if this is not clear or defaulted at time of booking. Would have helped.

Paid £300 for blood tests and still don’t have the results ! Receptionist incorrectly asked me to make payment before full invoice ready so I had to add a second payment. Not happy I paid £300 for tests to have to chase results

Since Medivet took over, the business side of things (i.e. I'm now not allowed to pay for treatment after my wife gets home from the practice and tells me how much is owed. I ALWAYS payed immediately after she got home, that same day. Now the big US corporation doesn't trust me to do that.
Also automatic bot-emails with due appointment reminders not always correct.
It no longer has that family feel.
