I am the Lead Veterinary Surgeon at Medivet Fulham and I have spent eight years working in companion animal primary care practices. I have graduated from the University of Liverpool with a certificate in advanced veterinary practice and a postgraduate certificate in veterinary professional studies. I am also an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine. Prior to this I studied veterinary medicine at the Royal Veterinary College and graduated in July 2015. I have two cats at home who are incredibly badly behaved if ever in the clinic.

I graduated from the University of Edinburgh in June 2023 and spent the summer working in a small animal practice in the Cotswolds. I moved to London in August and started working for Medivet in September. Outside of being a vet I love running and I’ve entered my first marathon next year. I also love travelling and hope to treat some animals in other parts of the world in the future. I have a naughty horse who is retired and lives behind Cheltenham Racecourse, and a very naughty cocker spaniel named Womble.

Veterinary Nurse

Hi, I’m Gina, one of the registered nurses at Medivet Fulham. Originally from Leicester, I moved to London and joined the Medivet team in June 2018. I share my home with two adorable rescue dogs, Maisy and Clover, whose wagging tails might occasionally brighten up your visits to the clinic! With a deep passion for animal rescue, I’ve fostered and hand-reared countless kittens and even participated in volunteer trips to Romania to support rescue efforts. My dream is to one day run my own animal rescue, continuing my commitment to animals .

Veterinary Care Assistant

Hi, I'm Izzy. My strong passion for animal welfare led me to study Animal Management at Berkshire College of Agriculture. My love for small animals means I have rescued over 30 hamsters so far. My ultimate goal is to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) and eventually write a book to support and encourage others with disabilities who want to pursue a career within the animal care industry. I'm deeply interested in rhinoceros conservation and I am supportive of The Wilderness Foundation, the charity which Medivet is partnered with. Animals aside, I am a huge One Direction fan.

The actual appointment was great. The Vet was professional, thorough and reassuring, as well as practical and delightful with our husky. What could be made smoother was the booking service for an emergency appointment. Had to wait 6 minutes for an answer from our normal Dawes Rd surgery. They were full but said Parsons Green had vacancies. They only took 4 minutes to answer but were full as well. Kensington answered almost at once and gave us the appointment. Should centralised switchboard be considered? When one's pet is in pain, it's stressful enough!

A pet and it’s owner have very intimate and rewarding relationship so when I have to see a vet the solution to the problem is important to both animal and me. Medivet completely understand this.

My mothers senior dog had a medical emergency on Friday and required urgent veterinary treatment. My mother has used this veterinary practice for all the family pets over the last 40 years, and even has a monthly subscription for services for her dog. I understand it has become a Medivet franchise in recent years. We called the surgery and explained that her beloved dog Millie had that morning had a suspected stroke and also a seizure and we required an urgent appointment. My mum was told the surgery’s IT systems were down and they could therefore not see the dog at all that day. I am truly astounded at the lack of duty of care in this case and the failure to have a contingency plan in place should IT systems fail. The vets themselves were very much there and they could have seen her as an emergency. I subsequently had to drive to my mother and collect her and the dog and drive them to a practice in South Kensington were her beloved dog was sadly euthanised. We will never forget the lack of compassion and support from this veterinary practice at what was such a traumatic time for my mum and family.

We came back to this Medivet after a number of visits to our more local branch over the years left us disappointed. We had a rabbit and it often felt like some of the vets at the previous branch were a little out of their depth. These guys were great and really knowledgeable and caring. When we sadly said goodbye to our old boy in June, they were fantastic. We've come home after some time away to his ashes and a wonderful little box containing some of his fur and his paw print. They handled a very tough time with such empathy. Thank you.
