Meet our Partner, Jorge De Nunes
I graduated as a vet from Porto University in 2016, alongside classmates Gus and Thora. Being forced by the latter to live in the UK, I quickly discovered an untapped aptitude for my role as a veterinary surgeon. I am passionate about helping our patients and their carers to live their best lives, whenever possible. I have a keen interest in orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery. You’ll often hear me complaining about British weather. Some of my hobbies are formula one driving, motorcycling, and bodyboarding.

It is difficult to make a booking online which I prefer. But that doesn't really matter the staff are so nice and take amazing care of my cats. It looks nice and it's a great place.

My 15 mth old Cockerpoo, Toffee was spayed last week. Jorge was very informative and explained the procedure in great detail. I chose the laparoscopic (keyhole) option because it is shorter surgery, less invasive and a quicker recovery and because she’s worth it! I bought a stretchy medical suit from Amazon rather than the cone, which was a great success. Two days on she was back to normal and seems not at all bothered by the procedure. Thankfully she is now free of seasons and it has greatly reduced the risks of cancers and infections. Thank you to all the Medivet team for a straight forward and stress free experience. Medivet reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of £20 if you miss or cancel an appointment less than 24 hours before the appointment. The cancellation fee will be applied to your account.
