Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated as a vet from Porto University in 2016, alongside classmates Gus and Thora. Being forced by the later to live in the UK, I quickly discovered an untapped aptitude for my role as a veterinary surgeon. I am passionate about helping our patients and their carers to live their best lives, whenever possible. I have a keen interest in orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery. You’ll often hear me complaining about British weather, some of my hobbies are formula one driving, motorcycling and bodyboarding.

Veterinary Surgeon

I grew up in Figueira da Foz a seaside city in the sunny centre of Portugal and spent half of my childhood in my granny's farm with all the animals and the other half trekking and sailing with the Scouts. I graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon from Porto University in 2015 and worked there for a few years. I came over to the UK in 2018 and begun working in Medivet, since 2019 I have proudly been a permanent vet at lovely Great Denham! My main clinical interests revolve around internal medicine and soft tissue surgery, and I am currently working on solidifying my knowledge on abdominal ultrasound imaging and expanding into laparoscopic surgery. Outside of work I like to travel as much as possible and spend quality time with friends and family. I'm also an avid gamer and computer enthusiast. I sadly do not have any pets to call my own, but I do like to consider all my patients a bit like my adopted furry children!

I qualified as a vet at the RVC in 2021 and have been working at Great Denham ever since. I love all animals but cats are definitely my favourite. I have a lovely calico cat at home that I adopted through the practice. I enjoy doing aerial hoop in my free time.

I graduated from Edinburgh Vet school in 2025 but have been working with animals since 2018! I’ve always wanted to treat animals since I was a child and am excited to start my journey here. Around the clinic you’ll probably see me cuddling some animal somewhere.

I started my career in practice in 2015 as a Veterinary Care Assistant, I then qualified as an RVN in 2019. I started working in Medivet in 2021 and came to Great Denham as the Head Veterinary Nurse in July 2023. I am passionate about animal behaviour and strive to ensure visits to the vets are a stress free as possible for all animals. I particularly enjoy nurse consultations so you'll often see me there. I have a cat and a dog at home who I love spending my free time with.

I've always had a love for animals and wanted to develop my knowledge and passion. I started my pursuit in the veterinary industry in 2021 where I worked in a Veterinary hospital for three years. I have a soft spot for exotics. My goal is to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).

I started working in Medivet as a receptionist in March 2022, I have since transitioned to working as a Patient Care Assistant with the aim to train to become an Registered Veterinary Nurse. I have previously worked in a referral specialists and love to incorporate that knowledge into my current work.

I started working in the veterinary industry when I was fourteen as a volunteer kennel assistant. I’ve since progressed to becoming a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2021. I worked in emergency and critical care out of hours for two years prior to joining Medivet in July 2024. I am passionate about animal care and enjoy providing the best experience for my patients.

I worked at Medivet Great Denham back in 2023 as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) before taking sabbatical leave to the Cayman islands for two years. Now that I'm back, I'm reunited with my one eyed boy Perry, seen in my photo. I enjoy the surgical aspect of practice most and I'm very keen on promoting adoption and rescue. Cats are my number one love in life.

I first started working in a Veterinary Practice when I was 18 years old, I worked there for 7 years before leaving veterinary to peruse a career in skydiving for 20 years. You'll find me front of house welcoming you and your pets at Medivet. In my spare time you'd find me with my two Frenchies.

I started my career with Medivet in 2014 as a Patient Care Assistant, became a student nurse and qualified as an RVN in 2019. I went on to become Head Nurse of Harpenden practice. I am now enjoying being Practice Manager for Bedford Clapham and Great Denham. I am excited to help clients and colleagues and providing exceptional patient care. Outside of work I have 2 children and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
