Waseema graduated from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences in March 2018. Although born and bred in the South West, she absolutely loved her time as an international student in Warsaw, and is always keen to travel and learn about different cultures. Waseema has been working in first opinion small animal practice since graduating, and particularly enjoys soft tissue surgery and abdominal ultrasound. Having completed her post graduate certificate in Small Animal Diagnostic Imaging and now settled in London, Waseema is excited to explore what the big city has to offer. At home, she has a cat called Mango who she loves to spoil!

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2017, and have been working in small animal veterinary practice ever since. Originally from Cheshire, I moved to London initially for university but loved it here so much that I never left. I am particularly interested in internal medicine and nutrition, and in my spare time I also give talks about the profession and help aspiring vets get into university. I have a beautiful Italian Greyhound called Teazel at home and hope to expand my animal family again soon. In my free time, I enjoy baking (almost made it onto GBBO), going to exercise classes around London and seeing my friends - I'm always a keen dinner party host!

My name is Alison Roy from an early age I have always had a strong interest in animals. I Qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2008, before going to the RVC Queen mother referral Hospital where I was a ward nurse and I also did some night nursing. I then moved to first opinion practice where I developed my skills further and became a clinical coach and moved up to Head Nurse, to which I have 8years of experience in. I have been working at Medivet Hampstead Garden for over 2years. I have taken a break in between to build a family of my own and I'm a mother of two children. My interest and hobbies are to develop my nursing in ECC and Medicine along with keeping active at the gym, and travel as much as I can.

I'm Zoe, and I have worked for Medivet for four years and I have been studying at the College of Animal Welfare. This summer holds the promise of a significant milestone as I anticipate qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse, a goal I've been diligently working towards. Beyond my passion for animal healthcare, my heart belongs to my own furry companions. Bella, my beloved rescue dog from Croatia who holds a special place in my life. We share countless adventures together, particularly relishing our long walks where we explore the beauty of the outdoors. And then there's Luna, my beautiful feline friend, whose graceful presence brings joy to my home.

I'm currently on my journey to become a Veterinary Nurse, studying at Middlesex University. Originally from Colombia, I've always had a deep love for animals, which has led me to where I am today! I share my life with three amazing rescue cats, each with their own tale of resilience. They're not just pets; they're my family. At work, I pride myself on my compassion and dedication. I'm committed to ensuring that every animal I meet receives the highest standard of care. I believe in the power of continuous learning and am always eager to expand my knowledge and skills to better serve our animal friends and their families. When I'm not at work or buried in my studies, you'll find me embracing the great outdoors, taking long walks in nature to recharge and find inspiration. I also have a love for exploring new cuisines and enjoying good food. I'm excited about the journey ahead and honored to be part of a team that shares my commitment to improving the lives of animals.

I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse (BSc Honours) in 2020 from Middlesex University. I have worked with Medivet since I started my nursing career at 18 years old but also gained extra experience and knowledge with working at some referral hospitals at the same time. If I'm not at Medivet Hampstead, I'm most likely doing nights shifts so you may see me at your 2am emergency appointment. Outside of work my interests include gym, pilates and pet sitting.

I am currently a Client Care Assistant at Hampstead. Prior to working here, I worked for the Mayhew Animal Home for 4 years. I thoroughly enjoyed the job, as I worked with the Adoption and Animal Welfare team. It was a great pleasure to see animals being re-homed to their forever home! Sometimes they were abandoned, stray or even Welfare cases, who did not always have the best start in life. I have 2 adult children, who have both flown the nest. I live with my handsome 16 year old black cat called Ben, whom I have had since he was 9 weeks old. Black cats are definitely good luck! In my spare time, I love to travel, go to the theatre to see musicals and eat out at very good restaurants. I have even been known to appear on a very popular ITV game show!

I graduated as a veterinarian in Nairobi after which I lived in Los Angeles, Berlin and Italy, where I gained further experience before moving to London. I have taken on the role as an insurance and accounts manager as I prepare to get licenced to practice in the UK. People refer to me as an insurance encyclopaedia; knowledgeable in all the ins and outs of pet insurance. I am certainly always happy to help answer any questions regarding insurance. While I do love all pets, I'm particularly partial to small fluffy dogs thanks to my precious Scrabble (pictured above) who sadly moved on but remains in my heart always!

Really bad service. We have been waiting for a refund (under £10) for 4 months! Very unprofessional and unpleasant experience. Long story short: after buying some food for our sick cat here, we decided to return 3 unopened cans of wet food (after having already wasted another 3) because our cat simply wouldn’t eat it. They happily took the food back and told us that we will be refunded the corresponding money in our credit card within 14 days. Unfortunately, we are still waiting to receive our money back; we’ve been there a few times already to complain but of course no one is taking responsibility for what’s happened. Moreover, they are not willing to return our money or the food (so that we can at least donate it somewhere else). That’s called stealing!!

Medivet prices are extraordinarily high and there is a lack of transparency about what you will be asked to pay. Once you are there, you have to pay whatever they tell you to pay. Vets are competent but the business side is definitely problematic: we paid £270 for one examination by a nice vet, who did an injection to calm vomiting and a blood test to check our cat’s thyroid. On top of that, a few days later, we were asked to pay another £24 to receive the prescription. And, we were asked to bring our cat back as half of the tests had to be redone!

I have consistently had positive experiences with the veterinarians at this vet, but unfortunately, my recent interaction with the receptionist on February 29th, 2024 was quite disappointing. This receptionist, who I recall from a previous visit, insisted that I switch to another branch in Temple Fortune ( where much more professional receptionists ) , due to what I perceived as unprofessional behavior at this branch. Despite my request to simply transfer my pet's records to another vet for a second opinion, it was not for change to new vet but she made me decided to do so because she hung up phone with no words after I finished my conversation and I felt so upset. This experience is regrettable, especially considering the excellent service provided by the veterinarians. I’m so sorry for them.
