We were seen by an excellent Vet, Costas, and he was able to carry out the procedure without sedation. It was only a short time and Oscar has now had all his matted wool patches removed with ease. Must improve our grooming! Many thanks

Staff have been caring for our dogs for 7 years, they are lovely, from front of house, nurses and vets. Polite, personable and relatable. They have always helped us make the best decision for our pets and suggest ways we can save a little with alternative treatments, medications deal and tick treatment.

The rating should be 0. PLEASE AVOID. I had an extremely disappointing and upsetting experience with Medivet. I brought my cat in for a scan after he had been vomiting, and was originally quoted £470. However, I was later charged an additional £80 for "hospitalisation" — despite the fact that my cat was never hospitalised. I personally brought him in, waited in my car, and was called in 15 minutes later when the scan was done. No one explained this charge beforehand. When I questioned it, they told me the cost was for a nurse holding the cat during the scan — excuse me? Isn’t that part of what I’m already paying for in the scan? That’s like booking a flight and being charged extra for the pilot to fly it. Then came the results — a shockingly vague and negative explanation, with worst-case scenarios like tumors and FIP being thrown at me. There was no clear breakdown, no time to process or ask questions, and I was suddenly being pushed to approve a £900 kidney biopsy on the spot. It felt like scare tactics. I was emotionally distressed and unprepared to pay that kind of money — especially when they refused to deal directly with my pet insurance, forcing me to pay upfront. To add to the frustration, I had already paid £200 for what they called a "full course" of blood tests, only to be told later that it didn’t include FIP testing — even though that was one of the main diagnoses they suspected! So what exactly did I pay £200 for? The staff were rude, dismissive, and more focused on pushing expensive procedures than on actually helping my cat. It no longer feels like they’re in this for the love of animals — it feels like it’s all about money. I’m heartbroken and angry, and will do everything I can to warn others. Please, think twice before trusting your pets to this clinic. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone

I was extremely impressed, with the time and care spent with our very nervous cat.
I honestly couldn't believe how good my cat behaved with Anna who examined her.
I was delighted with the whole experience. As we were very worried our cat wouldn't let anyone near her.
The worst part of the day was us trying to get Cookie in her carrier.

Our cattery is available for drop off and collection Mon - Fri 9.30am-1pm, Sat 4.30pm-6.30pm.
No drop offs or collections available on Sundays or bank holidays.
