Nose-to-tail health check
We're excited to announce that we're now offering a new nose-to-tail health check, discounted up to 25%. This includes a coat examination, body conditioning check, mobility assessment plus a flea, tick, teeth and ear check. If required your pet can also receive a nail clip. This appointment will be up to 30 minutes and carried out by one of our Registered Veterinary Nurses. Call the practice to book in your pets nose-to-tail health check today.

Puppy Parties
We hold Puppy Socialisation classes on Thursday evenings at the practice and they are a great way to get puppies to meet other puppies as well as people! The Puppy Parties are usually hosted by Kelly and Becky who will talk about different topics over the 3-week course, offer their support and advice to our puppy owners, and ultimately make it a fun and positive experience for all the puppies.

Nurse Clinics
Our nurses carry out a variety of clinics, including weight clinics, post op checks, puppy and kitten chats, k-laser, MHP checks, nail clips, Nervous Nellies, grooming and many more! Veterinary Nurses go through rigorous practical and theoretical training over a period of 2-3 years and are governed by the RCVS just like our vets are.

K-Laser
At Impington we have nurses who are trained in performing K-laser treatment on pets. K-laser is used to promote healing and reduce inflammation and pain, from chronic arthritis to post surgical wound treatment. K-laser is pain free and non-invasive.

Great practice and very caring staff. The only downside are the waiting times. Appointments never start on time and usually have to wait 10-15 minutes. This in turn can stress out your pet if there other animals present in the waiting room.

All of the staff at Medivet impington are great- our puppy was very anxious and so nervous that she couldn't be examined by the vet properly. We had a few Nervous Nellie's sessions with Caitlin. Caitlin was brilliant- so patient with the pup and our pup now loves coming to the vet to see her bestie. All of the vets have been really helpful and patient with us too- giving us plenty of time to ask questions.

I can not recommend Impington vets enough all staff are lovely and they have been very kind over the 3 years we have been registered. Kelly amazing nurse and Sorcha one of the vets absolutely lovely.

I cannot fault this wonderful practice. From the warm and friendly welcome when you walk in, to the excellent care and professionalism from the vets and nursing team is second to none. In particular, I would like to say a huge thank you to Rita who put my mind at rest when our little Patterdale, Doug, had suffered a seizure and to the lovely team we saw on the desk. Thank you so much, I slept better last night knowing Doug is in the best of hands.

The friendliest vets with every member of staff showing a real love for the animals every time I leave I say to my partner that I wish I had trained to be a vet as it leaves us with such a positive experience every time

Very friendly caring staff. But they need to make it easier for people to pay just a simple vet fee which is now £49 just to see a vet! People can't afford it and I wonder how many pets suffer because of this?
