Meet your Partner, Shilpi Prasad
I've worked at Medivet Langley since 2013. I qualified over 12 years ago from the Royal Veterinary College and have worked in small animal practice in the local area ever since. I have a wide range of expertise in both medical and surgical cases. I also hold a certificate in feline medicine. In my spare time I enjoy going to the theatre and cinema and love being in the garden where I especially like growing vegetables. I'm also a member of a local book group.

I have had dogs and a cat for over 60 years. I find my vet listen to me. We always discuss treatment. The vet is very understanding and very aware of my limitations regarding cost. My dogs are calm and trust her. This vets is excellent. I would recommend her to everyone.....

There was some confusion over our dogs' repeat flea and worm meds which led to a lengthy wait for them to be dispensed, despite pre-ordering, followed by phone calls to query a wrong dosage. This plus a long wait for our appointment in a waiting room with a constantly barking beagle made the visit rather trying.

Very caring practice. Have always found the staff to be friendly, helpful and efficient. Easy to book appointments either online or by telephone. Highly recommend.

I subscribe to a Medivet plan which helps spread cost. Whilst I preferred my original local independent vet at this venue, Medivet provides a reasonable service BUT, I rarely see the same vet twice, & this detracts from building a patient-veterinarian relationship.
