Meet our Partner, Joe Wyatt

I've been Partner at Little Hadham since 2018, previously working as lead vet at Medivet 24 Hour Enfield, taking soft issue and orthopaedic referrals. I was born and raised in Hertfordshire and graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2008. In 2014 I completed a post-graduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery while working for the PDSA charity. I strive to give each and every patient the full benefit of my experience and dedication and to ensure every client experiences the very highest standard of customer service while under my care. At home I enjoy spending time with my family and in my spare time I love camping in the woods, especially cooking and eating from a campfire. I have a cat called Wiggins and two aquariums with tropical and marine fish.

Sarah Wyatt

Veterinary Surgeon

Sarah qualified as a vet from Cambridge University in 2008. She started her career as a mixed vet working with farm and pet animals in Shropshire. After moving to Hertfordshire in 2010, Sarah starting working at The Woolpack and stayed there for 13 years, ultimately becoming their Head Vet. In 2023 Joe and Sarah decided it was time to work together so Sarah moved to Little Hadham. As a vet Sarah has a particular interest in ophthalmology and is one of the few vets locally who treats chickens! She has a real soft spot for sight hounds. In her private life Sarah spends most of her time with her family but also sings in a local choir and enjoys needlework when she gets the time! She only has one cat, Wiggins, at the moment and she tolerates Joe’s fish tanks! There will probably be more guinea pigs in the near future…

I am Hing, a Veterinary Surgeon graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2025. I originally hail from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, but please don’t let that fool you as I cannot stand hot weather. I have developed a great interest in medicine and dermatology while in vet school. I also currently hold a qualification to teach undergraduate vets! When I am not in practice, you can find me knitting, gardening, and practicing yoga! I have always enjoyed knitting since a very young age, and was taught by my mother (she made all my baby clothes!).

Registered our dog here when she was just a puppy after chatting to a couple of friends who couldn’t recommend them highly enough. We have been impressed right from the start. Friendly and helpful at all times, and always so welcoming to our doggo. She seemed to actually enjoy coming for all the puppy health checks and didn’t even mind the jabs, but has decided maybe it’s not quite her fave place anymore (!), since we had to leave her there for a whole day when she was spayed. Even though she’s now more reticent about her visits, we think they’ve been amazing. Her tummy has healed quickly with a neat scar after being spayed. She also had to have a worrying mole removed from her ear recently: the vets and nurses explained, guided and supported us through decisions related to the investigation of the growth, answering our questions so we had a full understanding of the situation and potential next steps. They were also very accommodating around the requirement of our insurance company. Joe in particular has been great, speaking to us twice now in the evening after what was probably a long day at work already, to bring us up to date with the latest findings from the lab (thankfully it turns out there is little to worry about). Super happy we chose them for our dog’s care.

The patient before me took a little longer so I was late going into my appointment. That is. It a negative it shows that the Vet gives more time if needed and that is what I like to see - care for the animal

This is a brilliant practice, the head vet, Joe is a brilliant, kind and caring vet and his staff show the same qualities. We travel over 1/2 an hour to get to the practice when our beagle needs them and they are well worth the trouble. The fact that they are part of a wider practice is really good as they have an emergency out of hours practice within travel distance.

Brilliant vets, always spot on with the diagnoses. Joe, the head vet is particularly good. As being part of a group they have all the facilities to hand (my little boy has just had a CT scan,) also the hospital that you can access at any time day or night
They may not be the cheapest but i wouldn't go anywhere else.

The staff here are lovely. My dog is very anxious and they did everything possible to keep him calm and gave the appropriate amount of fuss and cuddles where required (for the dog, not the owner.)
