Our Exotic Pet Service
Robert our lead vet holds a GPCertExAP (general practitioner certificate Exotic Animal Practice) and is studying towards a CertAVP (advance practitioner status with the RCVS). We have a separate ward for small 'exotic' pets, including reptiles, birds, and fish of all types.

We were very pleased with our first visit to this practice. The vet we saw was very kind and knowledgeable and answered all our questions very patiently and thoroughly. The practice was also very accommodating and because they don't currently have a separate waiting area for cats, we waited in our car and the vet kindly came outside and got us when ready. Very impressed with the practice. Just one small thing, I wish they would clean up the front entrance of the building and porch area leading into the surgery as it is a bit grubby.

I worked for a short period as a veterinary surgeon at the lower early team, and clients made me feel immediately at home. Each team member, from the senior vet until the reception, gives their 100% to reach the best level of animal care/welfare and customer service. Your pets are in excellent hands at this practice, believe me !

Only visited this practice twice and both times have been awful. I’ve been messed around with appointments, long wait times after i’ve arrived and checked in and the first appointment i had with the vet, they didn’t tell me what the we’re doing or giving my dog. After only a short time registered with this vets i am now changing practices.

I took my two cats for a check up. One of my cats was in a bit of a state, as was an outdoor cat,(not anymore as keeping her inside). Vet checked her over. Made me feel relieved and relaxed as I was concerned. Everything was explained clearly, and did not feel judged at all!

They could do some refurb and refresh , its so dirty and no air condition in waiting room , new lady in reception she doesn' t know anything i asked for, i have asked for pain relief for my dog , she told me that she call me back , after 8 hours still no call from Medivet, however Robert and rest of new vets are lovley .
