I have been working in veterinary from a very young age, after moving to London from my hometown of Wiltshire. I have worked in a wide range of practices, from out of hours emergency, night work in hospitals and general day practice. I have a special interest in behaviour and I am finalising my MSc in Clinical Animal Behaviour and offer consultations here at Chepstow! I have a 3 year old cat named Ivy and a 6 month old Belgian Malinois named Dax who you may sometimes see at the practice!

I have always had a love for animals and after achieving my diploma in animal care I knew this was something I wanted to pursue as my career. I moved from my hometown of Corby to London to begin my venture into veterinary nursing and so started here at Medivet! I have a love for all things exotic and have two cats of my own named 'Fudge' and 'Rosie'. I can't waiting to start my training towards becoming a veterinary nurse and love meeting all of the wonderful pets that come in to us here at Chepstow!

Luckily, my dog has been pretty healthy so I've mainly used Medivet Chepstow Corner for pre-travel worming but they are always friendly, helpful, efficient and kind. Importantly, the prices they charged were more reasonable than some practices quoted me for this fairly simple procedure. I've had one emergency visit and they were wonderful on that too.

Medivet Chepstow Corner W2 sorted out Mr Socks with some Bravecto and a nice nail trim. I usually take him to the branch in Talbot Road W11, but they had no availability. Top marks all round!

We have been going to the Nottinghill Practice for the past 15 years. Since it has been taken over by Medivet, the service has become less than satisfactory. The staff have not been very helpful with appointments, prescription of medication, the clinic seems to be closed almost all the time. Morever, I have older pets that need extra care, the vets have prescribed medication that will cause severe side effects for my animals and did not take into consideration any pre existing conditions of my pets. I have made a decision to leave the Nottinghill practice now.

Fantastic! We have used both Chepstow Corner and the Kensington hospital now, and I must say Andrea and her team at Chepstow Corner are brilliant! First rate, excellent care for my puppy. It is so reassuring we have a small, peaceful clinic nearby with a dedicated team, and the 24hr hospital not far in case of those dreaded emergency. Highly recommend

Avoid. After going to Peter for a decade this has now had a terrible transition to Medivet and the “lead” vet very inexperienced and cannot handle complex situations nor should be allowed to. They are closed Friday until Monday now. There are problems with staffing- (common problem throughout Medivet ) never enough availability therefore always locum nurses and no lead vet with substantial experience. Had to learn this the hard way! Avoid and save your pet

Jasmine was great. She was gentle and patient with Phoebe and took her time answering all my questions. She knew how to comfort and reassure me about Phoebe’s health. Thank you Jasmine!

Andrea loves her patients and goes above and beyond to look after them. She replied to my emails outside working hours.

This vet has gone down hill since Peter has sold it to medivet. We will be moving. The care and attention is no longer there. A while back they lost a sample and I had to chase them to only find out it was lost and we had to give another one. Nonetheless I thought I’d give them another chance as these things happen. One of my dogs is renowned for stealing/finding food in particular chicken bones and eating them. I spotted the signs and called the vet. She asked me “what do you want me to do?” in a very unhelpful manner. I asked her please can you give her a scan as previously she’s had to be kept in. The vet basically didn’t know what to do and in the end I decided to go to another vet who has previously looked after my dogs out of hours. Straight away they agreed to scan my dog and indeed she had eaten bones and had to be monitored. My husband has just taken our dogs to get their yearly vaccinations done and one of the dogs yelped which never happens. When my husband checked the area it was wet so the medication did not go in. The vet then tried to put it on my husband to make the decision to give her another one or not as she didn’t know it any of it had gone in. She then had the audacity to charge my husband in full. We don’t even know if one of my dogs has had half the amount or too much of the medication. What kind of joke of a vet is this. Thankfully my husband noticed. We won’t be coming back.
