Medivet Old Isleworth - Temporarily Closed

Vet bill was very large, place needs refurbishing door keeps getting stuck, niggles but apart from that the staff were kind and friendly, the vet was extremely knowledgeable, faultless.

The vet we saw was very kind, my dog is very old and now suffering from dementia, he talked us through our options, we choose some medication to see how it goes. It's a difficult time.

Excellent care and service. Always extremely kind, professional and thorough.

Friendly staff only set back was being seen 10-15 mins later than appointment time, this stressed my cat out more especially as there were two dogs barking at each other in the waiting room as one tried to go for the other.

I was very pleased with my recent trip to the Old Isleworth practice. It went very smoothly and the receptionist and vet were very kind and friendly. I recently left the practice as it was never open and rejoined when I heard it was a lot better. I had to set up my monthly direct debit again which proved a little bit difficult but got there in the end

The vet we saw was by far the best we’ve had since registering three years ago. He was incredibly caring and professional, took his time with our cat, and made sure she was calm and relaxed throughout. He checked her thoroughly and asked lots of thoughtful questions. We were very impressed, especially as previous appointments had felt rather indifferent or rushed. This was a genuinely reassuring and positive experience.

I have 3 cats and have been with the practice since 2021. I have been really pleased with the practice until yesterday when I took Dolly my ragdoll to have some matted fur removed she is on a monthly plan and I pay a monthly cost yet I was charged just over £37 to have some fur removed that was matted, only a small amout which I couldn't get out and it was too close to her skin for me to cut off. If I knew how much this would have cost I would have purchased some cat clippers from amazon for £9.99. This is an extortionate amount of money for a very small task and I'm really disappointed that they can charge such an amount. Inflation is ridiculous at the moment however this takes the absolute biscuit and is shocking. If I could give no stars I would!

I received all the information needed, staff was welcoming and friendly. Service costed me affordable price. So I am happy as well as my pets.

The initial phone call was challenging as the reception's English was not good enough. She did not take down the correct details, register our cat properly or give us the correct information regarding the procedure we requested. We asked for an appointment for a feline castration and at not point were we told that there would need to be an initial consultation and then a separate visit for the procedure. The vet did not know why were there when we went in to see him as no information had been taken down and passed on. After the consultation we were then told that our cat could not have the procedure done at the practice as there were no nurses and would not like be any in January. So, the whole process was a complete waste of time.
