Medivet Dogwood Referrals

I was referred here by my vet as my dog needed orthopedic surgery for a ruptured cruciate ligament. He was saw pretty quickly and booked in for his op. The nurse told me everything that was going to happen to Jim. They rang me to tell me he had been operated and was doing well. I picked him up the next day and was told all about his post op care. Could not fault them at all.

My dog has just had his second hydrotherapy appointment after spinal surgery that left him unable to use his left back leg and be weak on his back right leg. He’s had a physio appointment and 2 hydro appointments. The woman who he sees is so great with him. Makes him feel so comfortable (he suffers from anxiety at places with other dogs). The therapy already is making such a huge different. His progress so far is that he is strong on all 4 legs and is starting to get back the dog he was before all these problems already. I definitely suggest that if you’re thinking of making the call to go there, I 1000% would. It will make your dog so much happier, like mine is now!!

From the moment we met Tom we knew Peanut was in safe hands. So knowledgeable, caring and friendly. Peanut needed a toggle fixation (hip surgery) which seems to have gone really well. Can’t thank Tom and the team at dogwood enough.

My dachshund started with IVDD on new year's eve and needed immediate surgery. Not many vets were open on that day or willing to do the surgery. Dogwood referrals were happy to do this. My dachshund is now able to walk again a month after the surgery, still a way to go until he is back to normal. I can't thank this practice enough for what they did in our time of need.

We were very impressed with the care and treatment our young dog had at Dogwood. The treatment plan and scans were explained to us fully and going forward we felt our dog was in excellent hands. The anxiety we felt when we arrived was much less as we left with her. We know that our dog will be well cared for here. All of the staff were extremely helpful, and friendly.

My pet’s care and treatment was explained very well and all the further treatment she would require. We were very pleased with the in-depth discussion we had with the Vet. We felt our dog was and is going to be well cared for and our worries have lessened somewhat since visiting the practice and talking to the medics.
