I've been a veterinary nurse for more than 20 years. I joined the Roehampton team in 2010 and have subsequently gained a lot of experience in orthopaedic surgical nursing. I've active in charity work; having worked for three years at an animal rehabilitation centre in Thailand, which I visit and volunteer for every year in my holidays. I also have experience with wildlife, I volunteered in Borneo at an orangutan rehabilitation centre and worked with crocodiles and sun bears. At home I have two rescue bearded dragons, Miss Piggy and Kermit. I also have five cats, one of which I rescued and adopted at only 10 days old, called Pork Pie.

Having been raised in the Philippines with my grandma until I was 4 years old, I was taught from a young age how to care for animals and have always treated them as a family member. This created a deep seated passion for caring for animals and ensuring their wellbeing. After I moved to England, I continued that passion for animals continued with constant trips to the Natural History Museum, London Zoo and after obtaining as many animal books as possible. As I reached 16, I urged my parents to get a puppy as I knew I was responsible enough to look after another living being. We now have 3 dogs, 1 cat and 2 tanks of fishes at home.

I began volunteering at Medivet Roehampton in 2022 and joined the team full time in March 2023. I completed a veterinary care support course in early 2024 and am now studying as a student veterinary nurse. My family has a history of raising working therapy dogs. Our most recent, being my dog Ruby, a now retired therapy dog at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. I also have four cats called Maggy, Kasper, Purrari and Roy.

I joined Medivet in 2021 and after graduating with a bachelor's degree in Zoology. Have always had a strong interest in working with animals and love learning and caring for them. Alongside work, I volunteer for a local animal rescue where I have hand reared day-old kittens and nursed lots of wildlife back to health. I live at home with my two sweet cats and you 'll either find me relaxing with them, practising yoga or hanging out with my friends and family.

I joined the practice in September this year after taking a year out in Cape Town, where I was working as a professional freelance photographer. As an avid wildlife lover, I was also fortunate to spend time visiting some of the exceptional game farms in South Africa, meeting two gorgeous baby rhinos being a special highlight. Before returning to the UK, I also visited Bermuda where I had the opportunity to swim with dolphins in the ocean at the Bermuda Dolphin Conservation Quest Centre, a magical experience and enlightening to learn more about the fascinating marine work they do to study and protect the species. I used to share my life with my adorable Border Terrier and two magnificent cats, however, working for Medivet has provided the much-needed fix of cuddles and interaction with all the wonderful pets in the reception waiting area, until I find the right moment to adopt a new family member! I'm also a qualified Personal Trainer, and have been teaching exercise classes since my early 20's, during which time I worked as an Area Manager for Holmes Place Health Clubs. I also have a passion for Argentine Tango and travelling to Italy.

I joined the practice here at Roehampton: back in November 2023 after leaving the Natural History Museum, where I was team leading and supervising for the museum's general hours and exclusive events. Working for Medivet has given me the chance to explore my passion of working with animals, but also to use my customer service skills as love working and engaging with the public. As a huge animal lover I have also had the chance to rescue and adopt six beautiful pets of my Own which includes four Dogs and two cats. I am also a massive advocate for animal charities as that's where my pets have all come from. Most of them are from Sol Dog Foundation in Thailand but have also rescued from Ukraine and Romania. I previously used to work in theatre and have also trained in theatre. I have performed in shows around London which includes Lyric Hammersmith, Royal Exchange Manchester, London Palladium and SOHO theatre.

Took my cat in for a spay and was nervous about it as she is a very shy/anxious cat. The staff were all really lovely and showed great interest in her. The post surgery meeting was really informative and I will be taking her to this vets again in the future.

I recently lost my cat Mitz sadly but while in their care Medivet Roehampton were caring and considerate to him at all times . I do think the charges are quite high but I guess they are in line with other providers? Their lead vet Dr Miran (apologies if I have spelt her name incorrectly) was particularly kind and caring and explained the stages of his condition and left me to choose whether I wanted to get more and more tests to only prolong the inevitable which of course seemed to come quite suddenly. Thanks to everyone at the practice. I had been a client of the previous practice on those premises too, so had been coming there all of Mitz's 18 years!

I have been with Medivet Roehampton from the very beginning as well as the previous practice on the same site. Recently I took my new rescue cat Mimi in for her vaccinations and health check. I received excellent service from the Vet. It was very reasonably priced too. The reception staff too are great. Very helpful, professional and genuinely nice. I would not take my pets anywhere else.

Most pets start with four to six sessions, and many find the experience calming - even enjoyable.
