I have a very reactive GSD who has taken a dislike to male vets so we went to Waltham Abbey because I knew they had female vets. I was so relieved that Dr Cat took the consultation slowly and calmly, taking to Jax and fussing him, he relaxed and she was able to give him his vaccinations with no trouble and he passed his health checking I will definitely go back next time.

We had the pleasure of meeting Jess this evening! She spent her time examining our puppy, informing us of how to manage and check her weight as she grows and explained each flea treatment in detail. She was so informative and clear in her explanations and reasonings. She was very gentle with our puppy and took the time to make sure she felt comfortable. She allowed time for questions and gave her a head to tail check. Thank you so much Jess !

Ultrasounds
Since September 2022 we have had an ultrasound machine. This means we are able to perform abdominal and heart scans in practice. Both our Vets, Jess and Vivi and our Vet Nurse Liz are able to scan.

Virtual Veterinary Specialist
Since January 2024 we have a referral level specialist who will virtually guide and interpret heart and abdominal scans. Previously we would have to transport our patients to our hospital. Now we can do this from the comfort of our practice.

Nurse Consults
We have Ellie, our consulting nurse, who is able to give 2nd vaccinations, express anal glands and nail clips. Ellie is also our hypertension ambassador, who enjoys educating clients on preventative care.
