Nose-to-tail health check
We're excited to announce that we're now offering a new nose-to-tail health check, discounted up to 25%. This includes a coat examination, body conditioning check, mobility assessment plus a flea, tick, teeth and ear check. If required your pet can also receive a nail clip. Senior Cat Clinics
We strongly believe that age is not a disease and that older pets just need a little bit more care and preventative medicine to stay fighting fit. Our Senior Cat Clinics are used to assess senior cats for the common diseases that we see in our Golden Oldies such as osteoarthritis, heart disease, dental disease, chronic kidney disease, diabetes, subclinical urinary tract infections, hyperthyroidism, and hypertension, among other conditions. By checking healthy elderly cats we hope to be able to improve their general health and welfare and prevent any unexpected visits.

We offer a variety of nurse clinics including weight watchers, diabetic pet support, dental care, blood pressure checks and among others. Veterinary nurses are professionals who have gained academic and practical qualifications and are registered and governed by the RCVS like vets.

We have a variety of equipment on site in order to diagnosis your pet. This include digital xray which can be used to assess your pets' bones and jones, and ultrasound which we use to image your pets' internal organs

The staff at this vets have been so patient and supportive to me with my cockerpoo whom has become quite anxious as he gets abit older. We have had desensitising sessions with Andrew the vet nurse and Charlie on reception whom have been great and so lovely.

Went for annual vaccination. Vet gave thorough examination as Chumley had problems with his bowels. Recommended a good product which has helped.

I have to say i have only ever received great service and assistance from Medivet Washingborough. When i moved to the area and was looking for a vet i was told by some to avoid this practice but i must go on record as saying i am glad i didn't and to date the friendly and helpful staff at this clean and tidy practice have been top class. And the dog is relaxed when she arrives which is also a huge plus.

Appointments are made easily and promptly. Social distancing efforts are great and it feels very safe to have my pets seen at the practice. The vets and veterinary nurses are very compassionate, caring, warm and thorough in their explanations of illness and treatments of the animals. Secure payment also made easily over the phone to adhere to social distancing safety measures further. Leave feeling reassured that my pet is cared for and I understand the plan.

We cannot thank the staff enough for seeing our dog and her poorly paw at such short notice and for dealing with her - and us - with such care. Everything was explained and nothing was rushed. I can't recommend the team at Medivet highly enough. They have taken the absolute best care of our dog with her arthritis over the years and the help, support and compassion shown when her time unexpectedly came to leave us was exceptional. I will forever be grateful to them. Thank you.
