Unfortunately this practice is not the same as it was - it used to be so lovely. We’ve found things to be very disorganised over our last few contacts with them, and prices have increased significantly. I understand a business has to make money, but it now feels like their profits are more important than our pets’ welfare. The appointment we had this week didn’t even include a health check for my dog who has a known heart defect, despite them insisting we need 3 monthly scans and us paying for the plan that includes a health check every 6 months. Despite not including what I’ve actually paid for, they definitely made sure I paid for a unquoted nail clip which ended up costing £38. Awful, and such a shame.

I took my dog for his annual vaccination, on my return home had seen the vet Hannah Zheng had not filled in my card ,phoned the vet and was told by the receptionist to return (which I did ) at the agreed time .when I got there I was told by the receptionist the vet was far too busy to now see me ,and she would deal with it in her own time ,so that meant another return visit...therefore I have now cancelled my monthly plan and have registered with voo in Pyrford...absolutely no apology from the vet only passed down to the receptionist who was very nice and apologetic...therefore I would not recommend this practice.

I went with my cat for a regular health check and he was diagnosed with a periodontal disease. The vet said he needs a dental procedure and the estimate is around 800 GBP (without aftercare) and maybe even more. Because the costs are high, I asked if they offer any instalment plans, and they said no. I am in a difficult situation right now as I have a broken ankle and have been unable to work for several months, so I messaged them to see if there are any possible cheaper alternatives. I got a message saying that the receptionist would forward the message to the vet and they would respond as soon as possible, so I waited. I sent the message on the 1st of July... after sending two follow-up messages, one expressing my disappointment with no response, it is the 9th of August and I still have not received a single e-mail! I understand that vets might be busy, but even an e-mail saying that or that there are no cheaper options would be enough. I have messaged different clinics in the area asking for a second advice regarding my cat's case and they all responded within a few hours! I am disappointed.

I called to get some advice on my dog and got passed to a senior nurse who was really rude and dismissive. Called Vo vets and they were much more helpful

Called asking for a price, was told £27 for two nail trims. Once I went and got them done, was told it was £42. Came a few months ago to get them trimmed ( this was £27) paying cash, I asked them to check my last receipt on the system showing it was also £27, and was told there was nothing on the system about me going a few months ago. Reception staff were lovely and very apologetic about the differences in price. Unfortunately this isn’t a vet I will be using again. Apparently there has been over complaints about wrong pricing

They muzzled our rescue dog without consulting us which has undone years of trust building and training. As a rescue adopted at 2 years old he had a few issues. We have been going to this practice for four years with no problems (used to run inside) but a change in personnel resulted in a change of attitude to our dog. We have decided to change vets.

Left the practice yesterday to never return as they were unable to do a simple blood test i requested in 5hrs i left my cat in their hands because they say he was aggressive. Never happened with other vets before in 13 years we have had our cat who is a scared cat. Had already a similar issue with West Byfleet Medivet before so game is over! No regrets!

Thank you to all the staff at Medivet for looking after our Ebba over the past 13.5 years. I cannot thank you enough for the lovely card we got today with her paw print, I had wanted to get this done before she passed and didn't get the opportunity to do this.
