Lead Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified in 2013 from the University of Cambridge with degrees in Veterinary Medicine and Management Studies. Prior to joining the practice as an assistant in April 2015, I worked as a vet in both Berkshire and Surrey. I took on the role of Lead Vet in December 2017. My passion lies in surgery, both soft tissue and orthopaedic. As such, I have completed a postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Surgery). Outside of the practice, I enjoy playing squash, socialising with friends and family, and skiing when I can.

I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2021. I currently enjoy both medical and surgical cases, and in the future hope to complete a post-graduate certificate. I am passionate about welcoming our patients at their first visit to the practice, through to their last, and pride myself on providing personal and gentle end-of-life care. Outside of the practice I enjoy art and frequently draw pet portraits including many of our staff pets. I have experience working with a range of animals as I used to work at a wildlife park, and have also had the opportunity to see many of them abroad.

I qualified in 2012 from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences in Poland. Prior to joining the practice I’ve worked in a busy animal hospital in Poland, then in Essex and East Barnet. I have completed a Polish Postgraduate Certificate in Intern Medicine. I enjoy helping my patients on a daily basis but my main passion is ultrasound and I’m in the middle of Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Diagnostic Imaging. Outside work I enjoy spinning and traveling with my partner and two sons.

I've been a qualified veterinary nurse since 1987 and have spent the majority of my career here at the Wimbledon practice. I have further qualifications in Small Animal Nutrition and Management Studies. Away from work, I spend much of my free time either at the stables, taking care of my horse Mai, or walking my parson russell terrier Poppy.

I’ve been in this practice since I left school in 2004; I qualified in 2009 and became Deputy Head Nurse in 2015. I deal with all the insurance claims and queries within the practice. I'm also interested and skilled in handling small dogs. At home, I have a Jack Russell named Tilly and two Chihuahuas named Rupert the bear and Leia. In my spare time I enjoy crafting, especially at Christmas time.

I started working in Medivet in August 2024. I've always had a passion for working with animals, having previously worked on a farm, so it is great being in this job and getting to greet all our lovely patients. At home I have two black cats called Pip and Ollie.

We had been with Medivet for four years, but this experience was beyond unprofessional. We went to get a Health Certificate for our dog and filled out the required forms in advance as instructed. Despite this, when we arrived, something was wrong—but they completely failed to notice. It was only thanks to the travel company that we found out the paperwork was incorrect. We immediately called Medivet and rushed back, expecting them to fix their mistake. Instead, they offered no solution, no apology, and casually said the certificate might be ready that day or the next. I was due to travel and needed the certificate signed before the day it was done. In the end, we had to think of a solution—changing ownership to my husband so he could sign it. When he went in, he was treated disrespectfully, as if the mistake was our fault and we should have known their procedures. For a service that cost £250, this was a disgrace. Medivet's incompetence nearly made us miss our flight—and they never once apologized.

I am happy with the services provided. My kittens were well looked after. I am also grateful that the practice does a scheme that helps to neuter cats for people on a low income. There is also a 20 minute free parking outside. The staff were really quick. Thank you for this great service.

They have been treating my pets since around 2008 and they are the best I am so glad that I could take Gucci there and I got the reassurance and emotional support that was needed when Gucci my little chihuahua passed away from heart attack… even though I live in central London I still bring my pets here I don’t think that will ever change they minimise stress they have medivet which means not always but in this case that my pets can get best emergency care even though they are happy babies for now playing and doing zoomies I just wish princeys nails wouldn’t grow back so fast as he doesn’t like having it done he does enjoy the ladies at the reception (little show off) and majesty is as calm as she can be at the vets (she doesn’t like being touched by strangers) but she’s in safe hands and I’m so glad

Our cat Eddie had the honour of being looked after by Florence today who helped him with his matted fur. She was super gentle with him and he was completely at ease with her. Thank you!
