I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience has been frustrating enough that I feel I have to. My cat (a British Shorthair) has an ongoing nasal/breathing condition. Last year, I went through multiple vets, scans, swabs, and trial medications trying to get answers. Eventually, I saw a locum vet in Medivet Dartford who was excellent — he actually took the time to investigate properly and, after trying different options, prescribed two medications that finally worked. He also made it clear this is a recurring issue common in the breed. Fast forward to this year — I visited this practice in January when the same issue came back BUT different doctor. I explained the full history and the exact medication that works. The appointment lasted barely five minutes, I was given the same medication, and still charged a full consultation fee despite no real assessment being carried out. Now, just within two months, my cat has the same issue again. I requested a repeat of the medication that has already been proven to work and was prescribed by them recently. Instead of helping, I’ve been told I need to book and pay for yet another consultation just to get the same prescription again. At this point, it feels less about care and more about charging repeat fees. There is already a clear history, a confirmed treatment that works, and yet I’m expected to pay again for another 5-minute appointment to access it. On top of that, the reception staff were rude and unhelpful, which only adds to the overall poor experience. Unfortunately, this practice comes across as more focused on making money than providing consistent and practical care for pets with known, recurring conditions. I would not recommend.

I’ve been coming hear since nov 25 with my 2 kittens , friendly staff and always able to book a appointment, always kept up to date when their jabs are due and any other things , all by text message , wouldn’t go to any other vets A*
