Your vet in Nantwich
At Nantwich Pet Vets, we operate our own out of hours emergency and inpatient service from our Nantwich hospital. This is staffed by our own team 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We provide an affordable, reliable service and an excellent standard of surgical and medical care.
Our small animal veterinary team not only offer routine services including; neutering, vaccinations and nurse clinics, but our team of Surgeons hold certificates or diplomas in Small Animal Surgery, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Small Animal Medicine and Soft Tissue Surgery.
We have multiple facilities on site including a CT Scanner, Laboratory, Endoscopy, Arthroscopy and various other methods of diagnostic imaging. We also have a mobile MRI scanner that visits every week. We have a variety of consultation times, including late evenings during the week, and appointments on Saturdays and Sundays. At our purpose-built hospital we now have separate cat and dog floors, containing purpose built kennels, consult rooms, theatres and waiting areas.

Great set up in regards to Covid, felt very safe and well organised. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, from the receptionist on phone to the vet and the car park team. Vet was attentive to my concerns no matter how daft they were. Definitely moving to Nantwich Pet Vets going forwards. I'd like to edit this three years later to say how lovely and caring the whole team here are. I've been impressed with them when we've previously only had small check-up type appointments, and never felt like any of my little questions were too silly or too small for them to answer. When we had a bigger, scarier problem with blood in my dog's urine, they were amazing. So caring, and informative, and always able to get him seen ASAP when needed. He ended up having to have his first bigger procedure two weeks ago, having bladder stones removed. Nantwich Pet Vets couldn't have been better at looking after him, and making us feel as confident/relaxed about a scary day as possible. He's recovered really well, the scar is immaculate where they had to go in, and the post-op care has been fabulous. I couldn't recommend them more for looking after our furry loved ones.

Changing our review of these vets. Based on our opinion of quality of advice compared to second opinion (and our new vets) and unfair pet plan practices (if you cancel mid year, they will charge you numbers that are totally out of proportion to the benefits recieved, they essentially make out that worm/flea etc would cost far far more than the contributions you make to the plan, which unless they intend to lose money, can't be the case, but they wouldn't explain themselves either way, i've rejoined the pet plans now even though i'm not getting anything from it and ive left them just to avoid those charges!) Previously we rated them 5 stars, but that's all changed now we have seen this other side, for transparency, we do not have insurance but we can afford treatment, however this made us question some things and look around, and i'm so glad we did.

Used for years with our late dog ozzy. Always received the best care whether he was able to come home on the day or if he had to stay overnight as he was prone to tummy troubles. Unfortunately he had quickly deteriorated these past few days with his legs so had to be put to sleep today. Just wanted to thank the team for helping him pass with dignity and peacefully, they couldn’t of been more respectful or kind so we just wanted to thank them for making the hardest moments easier.
