Services we offer

With our 15-minute consultations, you have enough time to ask our expert vets any - and every - question you might have regarding your pet’s health and lifestyle.

Our 24 hour practices and external out-of-hours providers offer exceptional, around-the-clock intensive care to critically ill pets.

Your local Medivet practice will be able to issue an Animal Health Certificate for EU travel.

Our Computed Tomography (CT) technology allows us to create detailed 3D images of your pet to help diagnoses and create effective treatment plans.

Caring for all aspects of your pet’s oral health is easy with our excellent dental facilities.

An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a simple, non-invasive test used to detect certain defects in your pet’s heart.

Using a tiny, flexible camera, we’re able to view internal body parts with little surgical intervention.

We know that sometimes it just isn’t possible for you or your pet to travel into one of our practices to receive care. At times like this, our capable and compassionate veterinary teams often offer at home visits.

We use cutting-edge laser technology in our soft-tissue surgeries to ensure your pet achieves the best results.

We use cutting-edge Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners to help us diagnose a range of problems.

A pet ultrasound is a non-invasive imaging technique used to view your pet's internal organs and identify potential issues.

We use x-ray machines to quickly diagnose issues that might affect your pet.

Kept insisting on doing a CT scan for 3000 saying they couldn’t diagnose without. Repeated this at every appointment. Switched to a new vet that was shocked at 3000, telling us a CT should be between 800-2000. New vet then found it’s a heart issue and referred to cardiology - which a CT scan wouldn’t have helped or done any good. Had issues before with this vet.

My dog has been registered at this vet for many years. We have just moved out of Cheshire and re registering with another vet was sad; every time we visited Nantwich pet vets all the staff were super friendly, supportive and welcoming. The reception staff couldn’t be more helpful when I called to book an appointment and when you arrive for the appointment. The nurses and vets have been fantastic. Couldn’t recommend this vet practice enough.

The reception staff were extremely helpful, especially Hayley, whose kindness and thoughtfulness made a real difference to our visit. We arrived 15 minutes early for our 10:15am appointment and were taken to a side room because my dad’s dog can be reactive around other dogs. Hayley checked on us, offered a hot drink, and explained that the vet was running slightly behind. She was genuinely lovely and very considerate. Unfortunately, our experience with the vet, Dr Jennah Swindells, was very different. The vet arrived at 10:50am with no apology for the 35–40-minute delay and opened the appointment with, “Okay, how can I help?” When I mentioned the long wait, she replied that she’d had a “tiring morning dealing with sick animals” and asked whether we still wanted the appointment. Her manner from that point felt defensive and unnecessarily sharp. My dad, who is in his mid-70s, showed her a photo of medications he had already tried. Her response was, “To be honest, I don’t see anything in the picture that’s beneficial.” When he made a light-hearted comment about costs “How much? I’m a pensioner, you know. Do you have these costs on a price list so I can look at them?” she cut him off, saying she was in a “narky mood” and would appreciate him not making “annoying irritating comments.” It was clear she didn’t want to be in the room with us. When she left to get the medication, she didn’t return; instead, a member of the reception team brought the medication and card machine. After such compassionate service from the reception staff, the contrast was disappointing. A simple apology for the delay and a more professional, respectful manner would have made a significant difference.

Our 3 month old puppy conker was not very well, we rang the out of hours service on a Sunday and were met with a friendly guide on the phone, they called us back within a couple of minuets to go straight to the vets, everyone was great from start to finish, even to the point of payment and insurance, and Conker was home the next morning back to her normal self. Thank you!
