Services we offer

With our 15-minute consultations, you have enough time to ask our expert vets any - and every - question you might have regarding your pet’s health and lifestyle.

Our 24 hour practices and external out-of-hours providers offer exceptional, around-the-clock intensive care to critically ill pets.

Your local Medivet practice will be able to issue an Animal Health Certificate for EU travel.

CT (a detailed body scan), digital x-ray and ultrasound are all available on site. Having the kit in one place can make it easier to look at what's going on and plan what comes next.

Caring for all aspects of your pet’s oral health is easy with our excellent dental facilities.

An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a simple, non-invasive test used to detect certain defects in your pet’s heart.

Using a tiny, flexible camera, we’re able to view internal body parts with little surgical intervention.

We know that sometimes it just isn’t possible for you or your pet to travel into one of our practices to receive care. At times like this, our capable and compassionate veterinary teams often offer at home visits.

We use cutting-edge laser technology in our soft-tissue surgeries to ensure your pet achieves the best results.

We use cutting-edge Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners to help us diagnose a range of problems.

A pet ultrasound is a non-invasive imaging technique used to view your pet's internal organs and identify potential issues.

We use x-ray machines to quickly diagnose issues that might affect your pet.

Our dog randomly started to not be able to weight bare on one of his legs/paws. We took him the vet and was told by the orthopedic vet that he has a slight bulging disc and he cant fully feel his paw. He was offered steroid injections. On the second jab we were told by one of the nurses that the orthopedic vet struggled to find his spine as he put on weight (he did not). However when he was seen for a review the orthopedic vet said his weight wasn't the issue and that he just struggled to identify the right area of his spine. He has since not made any improvements so we took him recently for another review and hopefully a third jab. The orthopedic vet then saw him walking differently ( which he has been doing for a while since not being able to weight bare properly) and said it was new and that he now likely has degenerative disc disorder. He did not offer any explanation and said theres no treatment so we have two options: put him down or wait until hes off his legs and then put him down. We were devastated! This is disgusting. Our dog still has a good quality of life and is still his usual happy self. We weren't offered any further exploration as to whether he even has this disease/disorder nor treatment options. Ive since researched myself and there are different stages of it, treatment options and even surgery! Absolutely appalling. All just after money nowadays and easy options. Would not recommend.

Took my Bernese here while travelling through the UK, the entire team was so helpful, from the first phone call through to the wonderful vet Dr Hill. Very attentive and understanding, very knowledgable and reactive. I am so grateful for the appointment given at short notice and the care we received. Thank you

Callum and Chloe were incredibly kind, caring and compassionate when we sadly had to say goodbye to our dog at home. Their kindness during that time will never be forgotten. The biggest thank you to Hayley for always being so kind during some really hard times.
