Every year our rottweiler will turn into the worst drama queen when it comes to getting his boosters. Every year the staff have done their absolute best to do what they could to achieve the goal of getting him vaccinated with the absolute minimum of stress. Even though the vet has never hurt him he will throw a complete fit. We can't get him into an exam room, but it's never a problem to do the deed outside. We dread this time of year. Our dog can stand the fireworks, but have a stranger hovering around his rear end - forget it. This year the vet outdid herself. We were more stressed by the traffic getting to Swanland than the experience, so much so my partner who was holding the lure (homemade mackerel pate) didn't realise the deed had been done. I didn't get the name of the vet who saw us but she was fantastic. Her idea was to hide and sneak in. Between that and the pate, job done. As always lovely staff on reception. A very big thank you from Fred and his humans.

Every year we dread bringing our rottweiler in for his boosters. Every time the staff have gone above expectations to try and make this as stress free as possible despite our dog making everything extremely difficult. We usually go away completely done in from the struggle our dog puts up and the effort everyone makes to jab him.
This year the vet really outdid herself, making the whole experience a much more easy and even nearly enjoyable, so much so that my partner hadn't even realised that she had finished.
I didn't get the name of our vet for the appointment, but thank you so much for a truly easy, calm appointment. From Fred and his humans.

Great emergency care provided when my normal vets surgery were unable to.... My dog needed his teeth cleaning and sorting out..having a very anxious dog that barks at every dog he sees and gets stressed...I was panicking about this but informed them before his procedure of his tempermant and what they did for me was outstanding.. Marta the Portuguese vet was absolutely brilliant and understanding...she saw how upset I was and let me stay while he had his sedation...this really put my mind at ease knowing that I was going to go away and he wasn't stressed...she then took him heavily sedated by this time and did his procedure immediately...knowing how anxious me and my dog were...she wanted to get it over for us ASAP.... She's the best I loved her affection towards me and Alfie dog....I can't thank them enough...such a lovely caring vets from all staff...sure they must see it all the time but I was in bits when I left my Alfie... 💯 Percent... fantastic service...worth every penny.... Please dont complain that vets are an expensive place....if you're baby is getting the right treatment...it's worth every penny.... And medivet swanland go beyond this ...thank you again....
