Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified as veterinary surgeon in 2006 from Trakia University, Bulgaria and I have been fortunate to work in EU and UK veterinary practices, which gave me broad experience of different professional and cultural approaches to veterinary policies and care. I have been working as a small animal vet in the UK since 2010. I have completed a rotational internship at a Referral Hospital and I have worked in independent and corporate practices, for the last 5 years as a senior vet at Medivet Acton. I have a particular interest in surgery and feline medicine. As a strong believer in the importance of team and personal development, I qualified as a clinical coach to support nursing training process, I have also mentored EMS students and supported junior vets with on-the-job training. As part of my ongoing personal development, I have been involved in clinical research and have presented an abstract at the ECVS annual scientific meeting. In 2023 I have been elected as BVA Council regional representative for London.

Lovely warm welcome from the receptionist and vet nurse. The Vet herself was super informative and gave very detailed advice and explanations of what she was doing and what needs doing. Could do with some cosmetic refurbishment but I'm sure Nala my cat did not notice...

I am hugely disappointed in the practice manager at Medivet Acton. I have tried to communicate on three occasions over the last 4 months and have only received a generic automated reply. I find this exceptionally unprofessional having been registered for over 40 years. As a business, every valued customer should get a response!

I was promised a phone call from the vet within 1 week however 9 days later I am still waiting for the vet to call me following a test result sent off for analysis for my dog. I was informed at 12.40 on Wednesday 12th that the vet will call me later that day however now at 18.35 the vet surgery is now closed! Why say that I will receive a call back when that wasn’t going to take place! Poor service!

Took my dog to Acton Mid vets the veterinarian was really nice but unfortunately receptionist was terrible. She is a awful liar. She has lied and got my dog barred. Why would she do that? Such a horrible woman? My dog is not aggressive at all even the veterinarian had no problem examining her. I don’t understand what it’s got to do with the receptionist. She should be more experienced specially working in a vet. I suggest she should look for another job

Caring staff and vets are great. They gave our stray cat who adopted us the best of care and now she is a thriving creature, 12 years of great care 💖

In 2023 we took over the care of a 15 year old pug who had been coming to this practice all his life. His owner, a former Crufts judge and pedigree boxer breeder, had to go into care but was keen his little pug stayed with Vesi and her team as he had such faith in them. The faith was well founded, we found that the care was professional, flexible and kind. On the last day the kindness and compassion shown to Pugsley,as well as to us was unprecedented. We have had many animals, but have never experienced such empathy at the vet as we did the day he had to go. Thank you to Vesi and ALL the team for helping us make Pugsley’s last couple of years so positive.

Excellent in every sense of the word. Highly skilled professional and auxiliary staff, good range of services and animal products, good transport links too. It's a busy practice but consultations are thorough and the Drs listen to you. Nursing staff equally are knowledgeable and are able to give answers to queries or tell you directly to raise matter with the Vet. I have no complaints about the level of service I've received. I only wish that the pet boarding service would be reinstated. February 2025 🏅🏆🏅

We took our dog for his annual vaccination, and the experience was great! The staff was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. The doctor was kind and took the time to answer all our questions clearly. Everything went smoothly, and our dog was completely comfortable—no stress or anxiety at all. Highly recommend this vet hospital for their excellent care!
