Meet our Partner, Nina Ambroz
I'm Nina Ambroz, graduated from University of Ljubljana in 1998. I have been a military veterinarian and owned my own practice in Slovenia. I have been a Partner with Medivet Billinge from 2017. I love being a veterinarian with particular interest in behaviour, soft tissue surgery and dentistry, but most of all I like taking care of pets. I share my life with my Parson Russel Terrier Crispy, cat Neva, and Arwen the mare. I love traveling, going to concerts, photography, reading, and playing Dungeons and Dragons.

Our dog Penny transferred from the Elmsmere Port practice. She felt comfortable when we entered the practice and ran to the vet when he greeted her for the first time. Ensuring that your pet is comfortable with the practice is very important.

The staff are absolutely lovely, so friendly and caring. They know us and our dogs which means a lot especially as we had to have one of our dogs put to sleep recently. They always provide an excellent, professional service that feels personalised.

Really great service the main vet was on her own due to staff illness So was under a bit of pressure But the attention to detail was spot on And Brilliant with our dog Rosie Billinge Practice

Billinge and St Helens always have friendly staff. My questions are always answered so I’m comfortable with the dogs health.

Nina is so caring and knowledgeable in her work, you can tell she genuinely loves her job and all the animals who come to her for help . Her friendly attitude and strong ethic to her work is amazing . Just an amazing vet who is a credit to the veterinary profession . The nurses here are so friendly even when the day has been long and hard they still give 100% . Nina and the nurses / reception ladies , you are an absolute credit to this profession and practice .

I understand that costs everywhere have increased. However, I feel that the costs in the practice are higher than the national average. If I were advising anyone who is looking for a new vet, the staff are great but I’d certainly be telling them to shop around before committing to registration.
