Veterinary Nurse

I started my nursing career 6 years ago and recently qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. I enjoy being a nurse seeing new things, assisting our amazing vets and enjoying cuddles with the patients. I have a very fluffy golden retriever, some rescue chicken and a corn snake who love to keep me on my toes outside of work!

Services we offer

With our 15-minute consultations, you have enough time to ask our expert vets any - and every - question you might have regarding your pet’s health and lifestyle.

Caring for all aspects of your pet’s oral health is easy with our excellent dental facilities.

An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a simple, non-invasive test used to detect certain defects in your pet’s heart.

Using a tiny, flexible camera, we’re able to view internal body parts with little surgical intervention.

We know that sometimes it just isn’t possible for you or your pet to travel into one of our practices to receive care. At times like this, our capable and compassionate veterinary teams often offer at home visits.

A pet ultrasound is a non-invasive imaging technique used to view your pet's internal organs and identify potential issues.

We use x-ray machines to quickly diagnose issues that might affect your pet.

had a very disappointing experience with this veterinary practice. In my case, I was contacted and informed that I had until 6:30 PM to collect my dog. However, just ten minutes later, I received another call stating that the dog warden had been contacted. When questioned, the story changed — I was then told that the dog warden had not been called but was allegedly on their way of their own accord. This was particularly frustrating, as it showed little consideration for whether I was at work or traveling from a significant distance. I also received conflicting information during phone calls, which ended abruptly without resolution. Overall, the communication was poor and showed a lack of empathy. I would strongly advise others to exercise caution before using their services.

Friendly and informative. Not cheap. Significantly more corporate and less 'local vet' since Medivet takeover. Reception staff are great still, Vet standard varies.

Waited 30 mins to be seen with a distressed cat, staff scared of my cat, threw a towel over him with 2 staff pinning him down. He ended up peeing himself. Stated they couldn’t look at his injury as he was too distressed so gave me painkillers and charged £90. Next day I emailed photos of something in his paw no one contacted me, had to call again and they said it was probably just a tick it will fall off if i can’t get it, if your worried we will sedate him for a £150. I just went to another vets was seen immediately, tick was removed, his paw was infected, he had 2 week injection of antibiotics and 2 weeks of injection of pain killer. Why couldn’t this be done the first time? I know my cat does get very upset at the vets but sedation should have been offered at the time within the same appointment and used rather than the towel and pinning down. Not sending me home after paying £90 still not knowing why my cat couldn’t walk on his paw and expecting me to come back again and pay another appointment (and leaving my cat with an infected paw!)
