It is disappointing that every time you come for a visit there is no continuity of care..always a different vet..no permanent staff

Teeth cleaning was advised but @ £600 i'll look elsewhere.
Overall not satisfied with seeing a different Vet each time nowadays , will probably look for another
local vet where hopefully this wont be the norm

Private equity has pushed fees up and it is difficult for the daily practice and the kindness of vets to take away the taste from the extreme profiteering that medivet emergency services tried in the past ; private equity are exploiting pet lovers and it is not vets or staffs fault, it is revenue targets and ROE targets that are the issue as it erodes trust

Lack of consistency with the vets is an issue here. Despite being a client for 15 years each time you come it’s like the first time. The vets don’t read the notes before you arrive and ask questions they should know the answer to. It’s like the NHS but you pay a fortune for the pleasure.

Padme has some upper respiratory issues and has for over a year.
Whilst her usual checks were carried out, her issues were ignored and no advice given. She has a runny nose constantly and I’d have like her nose looked at.
Main issue is the lack of consistency of vets and the feeling that you’re starting again each time.

They listened to my concerns and even though only 1 vet on duty got me an appointment.

My dog had a health check in November as part of his annual vaccinations. Yet I had to pay for another health check in order to get a repeat prescription.
Why didn’t his November check up, with exactly the same questions count?
Why can’t I have an annual check up, with annual prescription, and then just collect his medication every two months?
Since becoming Medivet you have become less helpful.
Everytime I ask for a breakdown of costs to be emailed, all I get is a receipt for payment. Never a breakdown.
There has to be a more cost effective way of me looking after my dog? Please find one. Please help.
