I have been at the practice since 2015 with a few clinical breaks within this time. I enjoy spending time with my fiancé Ross and spoiling my fur babies. I have a Cane Corso called Akeela, Maine Coon cross called Zeus and a fancy rat named Boo. I qualified in 2019 and have an interest in dentistry and consults / medical nursing and hope to complete my certificates in Dentistry and medical nursing in the next coming years. I have also done further certificates in schedule 3 surgical nursing. Over the past 8 years I have managed to rehome over 30+ animals that have been brought into the practice needing new homes.

I have been working at the practice since 2023. At home I have 2 Mini Dachshunds (Frankie & Otis), Golden Labrador Winnie and a long haired cat Elvis. I have love of all animals and wanting to give customers the best service possible. I've only started working for Medivet in September but I love my job and the lovely staff I work with, they are all a credit to the surgery.

I have always been satisfied with Hellesdon Medivets but Ioannis and the current team have raised bar. They do a brilliant job. Ioannis has a lovely caring way with the animals and goes to great lengths to explain his findings and what is available for further treatment. The receptionists are perfect for the job they do.

Generally very poor service and only used based on convenient location. Inconsistent approach to pet treatment. Lack of communication between individual vets when for treatment plans. Extremely poor communication with regard to informing customer of test results, treatments etc. Issue incorrect and contradictory treatment instructions. The only time they excel is when a complaint is raised and then they can’t do enough for you. Would I use them again…. If my other vets can’t give me the appointment I need - probably, but that would be purely to ensure our pets get needed medical attention and certainly not based on them providing an excellent service.

Jelly’s vet was not only a very competent practitioner but also clearly an animal lover. Such a lovely person who clearly had my pets interests at heart.
She also was logical in her approach and I feel she only prescribed what was needed rather than focusing on profitability through prescribing additional medication, keeping the appointment realistic to Jelly’s needs.
I wasn’t being rushed and was given all the time needed to discuss all my concerns, not being made to feel like I had overstayed my welcome.
Thanks, Sean (Hooke).

Super happy with care when Pippa broke her toe.
The team were empathic to her anxiety and listened to our needs, so that she could come in when she was calm.
The team took care of her throughout the day and visited her while she rested in the kennels.
She's making a great recovery, and when we popped in this week to collect her regular Flea/Worming prescription, she walked in happily, which is brilliant!
Thanks for you help and support

Ella one of our adopted feral cats (from the UAE) is very feisty but the Vet was kind and even managed to weigh her, check her heart and give her annual injections. Overall extremely pleased with the kindness and care given. Karen and Craig, Gedling.
