I have used this practice twice, I breed Siamese cats, they are posh delicate creatures, so a knowledgeable vet is important to get it right! The first time I use them was for to spade a female Siamese cat, the other was to deal with a mysterious swelling on the left side of my Siamese tom cat’s face, they are house cats, which was even more puzzling how he got it, the swelling / irritation went up into the ear and across the top of his head, and in his left eye, both times fantastic veterinary work, from pick up you couldn’t even see where the vet had carried out a spade operation on my female cat, the other was diagnosed very quickly, eye drops, injection and medication the whole lot went away with 48 hours! I know they have many vets there now, which is a shame, cause the two I had were marvellous, beyond good! I did questioned whether a vet nurse should be in authority to check a wound is healing correctly or not, I am a therapist with over 30 years practice for horses, dogs and people, what she did I already did, or do, at home, that was a wasted 1 1/2 hour round trip I have to make to get there, I just presumed the vet that carried out the op / previous consultation would do the follow, or another vet at least. The young girl at the desk was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble, the older staff, I do agree with previous comments, they do need to work on customer care skills, being blunt and rude isn’t encouraging or even pleasant to recieve! Thank god I could let it all just slide of my back, the fabulous skills of the vets I saw made everything else durable! 📞 zero, seven, seven, two, one ….. nine, three, seven, seven, nine, three😉🐕🐎

Huge fall in care quality since buyout of Marches Vets by Medivet Group, part of multinational private equity firm CVC Capital. Since the takeover, treatment costs have hiked dramatically and there has been swingeing cost-cutting all round. Opening hours of the surgeries in Ludlow and Leominster have been slashed and they are no longer providing any out-of-hours veterinary care. In emergencies, owners are now told to transport their sick pets to Medivet Shrewsbury or Medivet Telford. There are several other veterinary surgeries in Ludlow, any of which may be a better long-term choice.
