Staff lovely ,friendly and helpful

I think the prices are horrendously high and will leave alot of animals without help because people can't afford it and public clinics such as PDSA aren't always able to accept new patients therefore leaving people and their pets in a bad position. Ultimately it's the pets who suffer. If price cuts are of out the question, I would suggest the option of paying in installments because everyone (especially in Liverpool) isn't wealthy or "well off".

The reception staff were lovely and this is not in any way a review on the ladies that were working on the desk. The actual vet was quite rude. He wanted to muzzle my dog who had shown absolutely no signs of aggression he was just a bit scared being in a new environment and pee’d (which is mortifying for any dog owner as it is). I felt the vet was quite abrupt and rude toward me because my dog had pee’d which is out of everyone’s control. I had apologised and offered to clean it myself and my dog had pee’d prior to going into the practice so it wasn’t exactly anticipated. He do not seem at all bothered to offer a proper inspection to my dog & gave me the dye to put in his eye myself. I’m not a vet I’m also not paying for a service to carry out the service myself - again my dog had shown absolutely no signs of aggression or anything of the sort he is the friendliest dog which I said but he does just get nervous in new spaces. The vet didn’t say what he thought was wrong with my dog just said he’d give me eye drops and to go back in a week if nothing had changed. I absolutely will not be returning to Medivet Allerton and I would never want to be seen by that man again I was really dissatisfied with the level of service he provided. I have never had that experience at Medivet before and will be glad to return to our usual vet practice and to our usual vet who goes above and beyond for my dog every time he is seen to. I still couldn’t tell you what is wrong with my dog other than the fact he has eye drops to help him and I think that’s disgusting quite frankly but I felt so unwelcome I was dying to get out of the vets when I went. That was my first experience in mossley hill and suffice to say, I wouldn’t return. The ladies on the reception were sublime with my dog tho and had excellent customer service advising how to administer the eye drops etc.

Fantastic veterinary care from Mr Jan Juszczak at Medivet Mossley Hill really puts my dogs at ease he is very polite and courteous I was very pleased with the service. Many thanks
